Easy Rasoi Interface Design
Most microwaves never reach their cooking potential - a lot of people use them only for reheating and making popcorn . You can actually do a lot more with a microwave and we can show you how!
Microwave interface: so simple, so broken OBSERVATION
Very small screen for text information
Isolated switch Confusing information and uneven placements
Purpose of usage Single button for to many function
Wrong placement of buttons and graphic.
Knowing the function
• Minimize the number of buttons. • Increase the size of the display screen. • Use graphical and text representation. • Minimal use of manual. • Viewing it in an ergonomic point of view.
Interface and display
No need of MANUAL. MINIMUM controls. Large and clear info. DISPLAY. Easy AUTO COOK menu.
ECO25 IRON Techno Aesthetic
There is not much design done on travelling iron. Most of the user don’t feel comfortable while ironing with such a small sole plate and wire handling is another issue. We came across problems like to many parts and difficulties in repairing. So considering these issue, we have redesign a travelling IRON.
Complex assembly, too many fasting screw.
There are around 50 to 60 part.
USER AND MARKET STUDY
not portable at all
Material used are PBT, PC, ABS, STEEL and ALUMINUM alloy.
All the polymer parts are made using injection molding. Sole plate is too small , for ironing.
-Portable (without compromising the size of sole plate). -Minimum assembly. - Easy repairable. - No wire.
Grips Foldable handles
COMFORTABLE IRONING 360 degree freedom while ironing. wireless.
NON STICK SOLE PLATE Excellent gliding on all fabrics
EASY REPAIRING Only 4 fastening screws
MULTI USE Used as hotplate also SLEEK only 30mm in thickness
ECO FRIENDLY Less assembly parts. Low carbon foot prints

W All design students were invited to design trophy for the “VEDANTA” group. The design of trophy should reflect the theme of “CREATING HAPPINESS”.
What creates happiness?
Interaction Playful Independence Color Achievements
Life is moving circle like paper windmill, with different colors and has good and bad times , but that should not stop us creating happiness.
Why this ?
The movement of pinwheel will always reminds you to keep going in life. Use of bright colours will always make you happy.
A simplifed version of the physical concept of the trophy and explore more materials like stainless steel . The jury belives the design will get more classier if it had just one pinwheel.
Final concept and justification
Use of solid ribbon , is not just for visual appeal .It has been placed to complement the pinwheel , it gives a feeling of wining trophy to a person. Ribbon has a flow form which complete the space with pinwheel . It has it own happiness and cheerfulness.
Use of glass material for ribbon form , so that pinwheel is given emphasis at the same time ribbon has its flow theme around it , so it look lighter.

People still think that elderly means pathetic, poor and unfortunate . The product should enhance and not degrade their health. Elderly people are not disabled.Design for the young and you enclude the old . design for the old and you include young.
Design for ELDERLY tend to be IMAGE BOARD
Huge buttons Terrible colors Big screen Too much use of technology
_idea of using magnifying area, for bigger view. _use of radium for night visibility. _simple graphics to match with elerdly attire.

CORE MEMEBER Desart is a non- profit organisation which aims at helping children get closer to their creative thoughts, by exposing them to an environment that encourages them to think out of the box.The idea was initially formed by a few college students, inspired by a couple of children who seemed to be trying to express their ideas with sand and sticks. The students then decided to give kids a common platform where they could share their creations and their imagination.
