THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE? “My hair!” says Masako. “There’s no predicting how your hair will react to the intense heat and humidity. I wanted an up-do but that was a no-go. Thankfully, I did a pre-wedding trial appointment to brainstorm a few iterations of a style that would work with my veil. I went for a more natural half-up, half-down look.”
