Speciality of SIGA is the handson training and on-the-job training imparted to the students on the shop floor of the SIGA Press. Students are engaged in planning and execution. The weekly preventive and breakdown maintenance in the press floor are completely handled by the students themselves under the supervision of the trained and experienced in-house mechanics.
With the students at the job, we takes extra care to maintain the Quality and Productivity. This ensures the satisfaction of our customers and maintain their prestige and standing in the society.

01. Mr. Ramu, MD, Chennai Micro Print visited SIGA for the InstituteCompany interaction and Mr. Mohan, past pupil of SIGA, Manager, prepress, accompanied him. They motivated students for the pre-press and press productioncum-training activities.
02. Medical Camp for Student by Medical Team of Corporation of Greater Chennai on 27th Sept.
03. An awareness program was conducted on ‘Substance abuse and Drug Awareness’, by the team of professionals from Nirivagam, the centre of Don Bosco Psychological services of Chennai Province on 22nd Sept.
04.Students celebrated the Teachers’ day and felicitated the Staffs of SIGA on 09th Sept. 05. Since govt. Recognition for non formal skill training centre is underway, ATI officials visited SIGA.
06. Workshop on AICTE’s initiatives for Technical Educational Institutions, organised by Cape Institute of Technology, Levengepuram, Attended by Mr. H.
