1. 2. 3. 4.

Login to your backend Go to CMS > Static Block Create a CMS Block that will hold the informations you want to be displayed in overlay When giving identifier name to this CMS Block make sure you are only using this formats: cms_block_name cms-block_name cms-block-name cmsblockname

5. Keep in mind that the script will only work with CMS Block identifiers that only use “_” and “-” to separate words, use only small letters and no numbers. 6. Inside CMS Block Content, put the informations that you want to be displayed 7. Once you have crated CMS Block, go to Catalog > Manage Products 8. Find your product and click to edit it. 9. Look into Product Description and find a place where you want to put your overlay link 10. To add the overlay link, simply type [[your_cms_block_name]] . 11. Save your changes then go to Frontend, find your product and see if the link appeared, if you can see the link try clicking it. If you did everything correct an overlay should apear. 12. By defaut it is made to show a image

III. How to change header links The header menu is made manually with links, all links are set to be Inline Translatable and it is very easy to change, add or remove a link. I will explain how they are made now so that you will be able to edit them in the way you see fit. 1. To open a file where links are stored login to FTP of your website

2. Navigate to: app/design/frontend/default/rex/template/catalog/navigation 3. Inside that folder you will find top.phtml witch you need to edit. 4. When you open top.phtml , inside you will see something like this ... <li class="<?php if(strpos( $this->getUrl(''), $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'])!==false){ echo $li_active; } ?>"> <a href="<?php echo $this->getUrl() ?>">Home</a></li> <li class="<?php if(strpos($_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'], '/led-thuis')! ==false){ echo $li_active; } ?>"> <a href="<?php echo $this->getUrl('led-thuis') ?>"><?php echo $this->__('LED Thuis') ?></a> </li> <li class="<?php if(strpos($_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'], '/led-winkels')! ==false){ echo $li_active; } ?>"> <a href="<?php echo $this->getUrl('led-winkels') ?>"><?php echo $this->__('LED Winkels') ?></a> </li> ...

5. <li class="<?php if(strpos($_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'], '/ led-winkels')!==false){ echo $li_active; } ?>"><a href="<?php echo $this->getUrl(' led-winkels') ?>"><?php echo $this->__('LED Winkels') ?></a></li>

6. led-winkels represents the name of the CMS Page that will be displayed once you click on this menu link. 7. LED Winkels represents the text that will be displayed on the link NOTE: When editing top menu, make sure you only change the colored text on step 5. If you change anything other then colored text you risk breaking the script.
