Fall Activities Brisk, fresh air and multicolored trees. Discover everything Virginia's countryside has to offer this Fall. NATURE HIKE

TENNIS

Join one of our enthusiastic guides on a relaxed nature hike. This is a subtle hike focused on getting outside and learning about the resort, Middleburg, and what is around us. While this hike does go on trails, it is very modest in intensity, meaning you won't work up too much of a sweat. 45 MINUTES.

Court time with recreational rackets and tennis balls are available at the Fitness Desk. Salamander has two hard surface tennis courts available on a first come, first serve basis. Priority is given to regular scheduled programs and private lessons. Guaranteed court time for individuals or groups can be made; advanced reservations are required.

GIANT JENGA: Don’t pull the wrong block! Test your skills on stacking giant Jenga pieces. BANANA GRAMS: Using your own letters and board, compete to form as many words possible. Similar to Scrabble, but with an exciting twist.

WACKY WATER POLO: Bring the whole family for a wacky game of water polo in the resort’s indoor pool. I SPY: Can you spot the hidden items in The

Library? This game is designed to test your vision and focus.

TRIVIA: A game for all ages. Test your knowledge on a wide variety of categories. BINGO: Enjoy and compete in a friendly game of the traditional hall-style BINGO. SCAVENGER HUNT RACE: Nature based hunt, travel throughout the property and find the answers to our ten tricky questions. CORN HOLE: A team game where beanbags are tossed at a goal to earn points.

SPIKE BALL: The objective of the game is to

APPLE PICKING OR PUMPKIN PICKING

Apple picking is one of the many highlights of fall in Virginia. Sit back as we provide transportation to and from Hollin Farms, where you can pick your own apples or pumpkins. Wednesdays through Sundays, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. $65 per person, six person minimum.

YOGA IN NATURE

Be one with nature for this unique experience! Start the session with a hike to a wooded area where you’ll practice yoga with an instructor for 60 minutes, before hiking back to the resort. Private session for one person is $110, two people $75 per person.

ZOMBIE ARCHERY

Rest, destress and manifest. Take a moment to set your seasonal intentions. Start with journaling exercises and guided Pranayama (breath work). Next, take slow stretching shapes to open channels in the body using meridians and Yin Yoga. We end the class by settling into our body with Yoga Nidra; a guided meditation which directs awareness to different parts of the body. 15 minutes of Yoga Nidra equals one hour of REM sleep! The Ashtanga Yoga Sequence is a timehonored, challenging and life-changing Yoga practice. Ashtanga Yoga uses a set Vinyasa sequence that is the same every time you practice.
