About Meetings Gatherings Of Distinction Any gathering, meeting, event, conference — no matter the purpose — deserves a grand style and elegant atmosphere. This is the mission of our experienced event management team. From the 4,500-square-foot Middleburg Ballroom to the intimate setting of the Marshall Boardroom, Salamander Resort & Spa has spacious indoor event and meetings facilities, much of which opens to outdoor terraces. Unique indoor settings include the resort’s world-class Equestrian Center, the Stallion Barn (a 100+ year old stone building adjacent to the 2.5 acre Grand Lawn), the Culinary Garden, and the Cooking Studio which may be reserved by groups for private events. Every event’s crafted to a polished perfection. This is assured. Our resort professionals partner with the event planner so details are attended to. The goal is to ensure you and your attendees are delighted before, during and after the event. The manager coordinates all on-site details including reservations, room layout and design, shipping and receiving, engineering assistance, and multiple outside services.

Meetings Group Activities Growing Together The opportunities for group activities at Salamander Resort & Spa are limited only by the imagination. Here you’ll find unique experiences designed to heighten the senses and build community spirit.

Team Building At Salamander Resort & Spa, our group activities for team building functions and program development are entertaining, adventurous and unlike anything you’ve experienced. Treetop zip lining offers a thrilling tour over the area by taking a step off a platform and through the treetop canopy. An experience you will truly never forget. An Amazing Nature Race brings team spirit to any group. Discover the ways of the horse in our many equestrian programs. In Survival 101, teams test their abilities to triumph in diversity. Our Teaming for Green “Adopt a Trail”, Art Offerings and Geo-caching are some of our most popular choices.

Highlighted by our exclusive arrangement with The Club at Creighton Farms, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, our concierge and reservations team will assist you in creating the ultimate golf experience.

The Great Cook-Off In our not-so-ordinary demonstration kitchen, The Cooking Studio opens directly into our kitchens where Chefs interact with guests while preparing full meals or select dishes. Introduce your attendees to a wide range of cooking classes — such as vegan, vegetarian, low-fat, and low sodium. The Cooking Studio is available for private dinner parties where you and your guests participate or simply watch the meal’s preparation while conversing with the chef.
