GLOBAL FUND FOR JESUS

CHAIRMAN’S REPORT On behalf of the Board of Governors of the Global Fund for Jesus (GFFJ or the Fund), I am privileged to present the Annual Report on the activities of the GFFJ for the 2017/2018 financial year.

The Fund is the sister organisation of the Global Business Roundtable and has essentially used the GBR platform to launch and grow its partners and donor base. For the past 7 years the Fund has had no major activities as it was mainly helping and supporting GBR to grow and expand its platform and global network.

The Fund is simultaneously launched with new GBR chapters in different nations to ensure that it grows at the same pace as GBR.

ABOUT GFFJ The Global Fund For Jesus was born out of the mandate given directly to the chairman in a vision whilst in Jerusalem, Israel when he was on tour of the Holy Land. On 15 November 2007, in the early hours of the morning and in a vision, he saw a cloud of light and from it came a voice which said, “Arise, setup a Global Fund for Jesus.” “Global Fund for Jesus” was repeated three times.

The Global Fund for Jesus was officially launched on the 18th of November 2010 at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa at the Gala Dinner attended by 1000 people.

The medium to long term objectives of the Fund are to build Schools, Orphanages, Shelters, Old Age Homes, Entrepreneurship Centres, Clinics, Hospitals, etc., in areas where they are needed the most and where significant impact in the lives of people can be realised.

The other objective of the Fund is to win many souls to Jesus Christ through not only preaching but also in doing that which Jesus would do, thus demonstrating His love for His people.

GOVERNANCE The Global Business Roundtable members embrace the mandate, vision and mission of GFFJ and become Ambassadors or Champions for GFFJ programmes.

The successful execution of the Fund’s mandate is directly linked to the growth and expansion of the GBR in line with the strategy outlined in Vision 2020, to be in 100 countries by the year 2020. This growing platform becomes strategic for expansion of the GFFJ mandate objectives and agenda.

Company shares can be given as a donation or sold at a discount as the dividends arising from those investments are assigned to the upliftment of the poor. This is a corporate social investment initiative.

GFFJ SEED BANK The Global Fund for Jesus is excited to make its contribution to the solving of some of the world’s intractable challenges. One of the initiatives that would be a step in this direction is the establishment of seed banks which would be repositories of agricultural seeds. Another initiative would be the acquisition of land toward the creation of jobs and the ultimate eradication of poverty.

GFFJ LAND ACQUISITION STRATEGY Many nations in Africa and the rest of the developing world have vast tracts of land available for agricultural purposes. More than 60 percent of this land, however, remains unused or underutilised. Some of this land is owned by private individuals and some by governments and traditional authorities. GFFJ looks to acquire sizeable tracts of these lands for the fulfilment of its mandate. In other instances, GFFJ can have long term leases or partner with existing land owners in pursuance of its mandate objectives.

THE GFFJ VISION 2020 & JESUS CONCERT GFFJ is in line with the GBR strategy to be present in 100 nations by the year 2020. This will ensure the growth of its partners and donors throughout the globe. After the GBR World Congress of 2020, GFFJ plans to host the largest Gospel Concert at the FNB Stadium in Soweto.

This concert will host international gospel artists, the top 100 Global Ministries, international celebrities, dignitaries from business, academe and other sectors of society. The concert will be designed to raise global awareness of GFFJ and its projects as well as to raise funds for various Jesus projects as outlined above.

GFFJ – TV

Fundraising Concert to attract Christians from around the world

The GFFJ plans to launch Jesus TV in September 2018. The title of the Jesus television programme is “Comfort ye my People” taken from the book of Isaiah 40 vs 1-2 which reads thus: “1. Comfort, Comfort ye my people, says the Lord your God” “2. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem and proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that she has received from the Lord’s hand double for all her sins”. Jesus TV will focus on programs that directly speak to the Mandate of the Global Fund for Jesus as well as on what Jesus came to the Earth for as described in Isaiah 6 vs 1. “1. The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners” ”2. to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour and the day of vengeance of our God to comfort all who mourn,”

The TV Show will initially broadcast on TBN Africa and Kwese TV and will later broadcast in all other channels where GBR TV is broadcast. The TV programme will substantially cover all the projects and events that will be supported under the GFFJ banner.
