AUTHOR – Paul BACKGROUND Paul and Silas wrote this letter after running away from Thessalonica to Berea. About six months later he sent another letter known as 2 Thessalonians. Paul does another brave act as he writes 1 Thessalonians. 3 MEMORY VERSES
1 Thessalonians 4:16- “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.”
1 Thessalonians 5:12 – “And we urge you, brethren, to recognize those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you.”
