PRESIDENT'S REPORT
“Appreciation is a wonderful thing It makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well ” Voltaire
Today, I appreciate the myriad of ways the excellence of our donors has been the “red thread” woven into the story of Saint Simeon’s Senior Community In literature, the “red thread” represents the connection between two characters It symbolizes interconnectedness and how the decisions of one character have an impact on the lives of others.
For over 60 years, you, our donors, have decided to give yourselves to the mission of Saint Simeon’s in the form of your time, your money, and your devotion Your decision to do so has had an indelible impact on the lives of our residents, their families, and our staff
Despite the obstacles of the last few years, Saint Simeon’s has continued to set the standard of excellence in senior care In every area of our community, from the grounds to the buildings to the staff to the quality of care our residents receive, that “red thread” is woven throughout
We have pulled this thread through yet another challenging year, and it has remained unbroken We have felt your support in prayer, encouragement, and finances The wonder of our appreciation lies in how you continue to show up with grace and devotion Due to your generosity and love, Saint Simeon’s Foundation’s Western Days 2022 was the most successful yet, and the tapestry created by the weaving together of the Foundation and the Home is stronger and more beautiful than ever
Henry Ward Beecher said, “Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul.” As the coming of Spring transforms our campus into living color, each bloom reminds us how grateful we are for your continued support.
With appreciation and gratitude,
