We share this celebration of the Last Supper with Spirit of Hope Catholic Community, as well as two of our neighboring Episcopal Churches. This ecumenical worship is a witness to our unity in Christ, and a sign of peace and reconciliation in our world.

Every decoration is removed from the sanctuary. We keep prayer vigil all night in the sanctuary, remembering Christ’s anguish in the Garden of Gethsemane.

We gather in darkness and light the first fire of Easter. Gathered around that fire, we hear the ancient stories of our faith and welcome new members through baptism. As we move into the lighted, festive sanctuary, we sing the first Alleluias of Easter, and joyfully ring our bells. Christ is Risen!!! Alleluia!!!
