Swimming, Volleyball, Hamburgers Five speakers will dive into different books of the Bible. Candlelight Mass at 9:00 pm with Fr. Chinna The Mass fulfills your Sunday Obligation. YOUTH: Bring lifejacket, sunscreen, towel and a blanket or chair. Permission/Medical Forms are required. Parents are welcome to attend the Mass. Please arrive at 8:45 pm. Anyone wishing to help provide snacks or desserts for the retreat, please bring or send them with the youth on Sunday. Sunday, June 26 Special Collection: Peter’s Pence Monday, June 27 7:00 pm: Infant Baptism Class in Fellowship Hall — Parents and Godparents planning a baptism in the next three months are encouraged to attend this class. No Choir Practice Tuesday, June 28 Vocation Retreat (June 28-30) at Christ the King Retreat Center, presented by Seminarians of the Diocese. Thursday, June 30 6:30 pm — Rural Life Mass Seed & Soil, celebrated by Bishop Pfeifer and hosted by St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church with Fr. Wade of Ballinger. It will be held at the Gary & Dinell Jacob Ranch located at 6201 State Hwy 153, Winters. Ribbons & signs will be posted for all to see. A meal will follow Mass. FMI call Deacon Charlie Evans @ 357-4520. Friday, July 1 World Day of Prayer for the Sanctification of Priests, designated by Our Holy Father on the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This day we review the call to holiness that Christ makes priests through baptism and ordination and pray for this gift of holiness for all priests and seminarians. YOUTH CORNER: I’d like to thank those who were able to attend the Colts baseball

game last Friday. We were treated to quite a game. Also, Phyllis and I would like to thank all who were able to assist us in serving donuts and drinks to all the fathers of our parish, including Fr. Chinna. The donuts left will be taken to the mini retreat this Sunday at the Rocking Chair Ranch. Please take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to learn more about our faith and share in some great fellowship and worship, including some swimming activities and volleyball. This is for all incoming freshmen to outgoing seniors. It begins @ 3:00 pm and ends with Mass beginning at 9:00 pm. All other parishioners are invited to attend the Mass — please be there by 8:45 so there will be no interruptions at the beginning of Mass. Don’t forget to have your permission forms with you IF you did not turn them in by Thursday’s deadline. You will find the forms in the back of church and also available at the Rocking Chair Ranch. The youth group has been asked to prepare, serve and clean up at the VBS Hotdog Lunch on Friday, July 15. Lunch is from 11:30-12:00 noon. We will need students to come to the Parish Hall @ 10:00 am so we can get it set up, prepared and ready to serve by 11:30 am. We have set the date for the annual High School Youth Group Schlitterbahn trip for July 20. Be watching for more details regarding this event. Peace be with you all. ~Deacon Dan

July 4: 10:00 am — Wall 4th of July Parade: Begins at the Wall Coop Gin, and ends at the Fire Hall where there will be an Awards ceremony and lunch provided by the Wall Volunteer Fire Dept. Parade entries will be accepted until 9:45 am on July 4th. Entry forms are available at the Wall churches, businesses and the Post Office. All veterans are invited to participate in the parade and are asked check in at the registration table at 9:00 am at the Wall Coop Gin on parade day.
