THE YOUTH CORNER: On Good Friday our kids’ final presentation of the enactment of the Stations of the Cross was outstanding. If you were there and able to pray the Stations along with the kid’s presentation, I know you left the hall with an unbelievable feeling deep inside your soul. I’m so proud of these kids and I know you are, too. I would like to thank the students who worked so hard and put in the extra time to prepare for this presentation; Phyllis for her help in directing the cast; and, Johnnie Mae Stice and Virginia Niehues for their diligent work on the “awesome” costumes. We are excited for this to become an annual event and hope you are, too. I’d like to also thank all the altar servers who assisted in the Masses this Holy Week. It’s been a pleasure having the young kids so enthusiastic in our ministry. Let us continue in this call to serve at the Mass. The Junior High Youth Group will soon begin selling luminaries for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. If you’d like to honor a family member who lost the battle with cancer or celebrate a “survivor,” please see one of our junior high students to purchase a luminary for $5.00 each or a donation of your choice. Happy Easter everyone! Let us rejoice in the Risen Christ. Peace, Your brother in Christ, Deacon Dan
