HOW TO REGISTER:
Classes and programs, unless otherwise noted, are available for registration at www.sahuaritaaz.gov/ParksandRec or in person at Anamax Recreation Center, 17501 S. Camino de las Quintas, Mon.-Fri. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Classes are held at Anamax Recreation Center unless otherwise noted. Registration deadlines for programs are the Friday prior to the start of the program unless otherwise noted.
YOUTH/TEEN Arts for Tots Interact with new friends in a fun, imaginative way with age-appropriate art projects and crafts. Active parent participation required. Wear clothes that can get a little messy. Beginning Art Experience new techniques to enhance your artistic ability. Students will be provided all necessary materials. Age: 5-9 years Day & Time: Tuesday Dates/Topic: 9/3 – 9/24 10/1 – 10/29 No class 10/8 11/5 – 11/26 Fee: $30 per session
5-6 p.m. Ceramics Zentangle Grid Art
Participants will learn food safety, kitchen etiquette, and how to prepare a variety of food. Classes vary in content each month.

Movies
The Town of Sahuarita, Rancho Sahuarita, Rural Metro and Common Ground Church provide a Halloween event you will not want to miss. Bring the whole family to a fun and safe atmosphere with entertainment, a Haunted House, “trunk or treat” and more! Free.
Sahuarita Chalk Art Festival Nov. 2 • Sahuarita Lake Park • 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. An amazing group of chalk artists bring the park pavement to colorful life with unique murals. Explore live street art and the community zone where you can create your own mural or participate in a group project. To reserve a mural space, register @ www.saaca.org. Free.
3rd Friday • 10/18, 11/15 • Anamax Park • 12/20 • Town Hall • 6:30 p.m. Fee: Free Bring your blankets and chairs and enjoy a movie in the park on our giant, inflatable screen. In December, the movie will be at Town Hall where you can also enjoy the holiday lights.
Geocaching Adventure Sept. 14 • Anamax Recreation Center • 10 - Noon Fee: Free Learn the basics of geocaching, then find and replenish caches within Anamax Park. Bring a smartphone to use as a GPS; app information and wifi will be available at the event.

Learn basic steps, tango techniques, and floor craft. No dance experience or partner required. Come in and start dancing!
Body Balance Chair Yoga Mindful movement, focused breath and guided meditation provide a great way to get the body moving for those who are disabled, recovering from an injury, or have limited mobility.
Dance Cardio Love to dance but hate to exercise? Dance Cardio is a low-impact class that combines easy-to-follow dance moves along with light-weight cardio routines.
FiTBody A mix of basic, full-body fitness elements that include interval and circuit training along with body sculpting, cardio dance and mat science.
Hatha Yoga Practicing yoga provides strength, stamina, flexibility and relaxation. Learn to deal with stress, be content, and be grateful, living in the moment. All levels of students are welcome.

Practice controlled exercises that engage the mind and condition the body. Blending strength and flexibility training improves posture, reduces stress and creates long, lean muscles without the bulk.
Senior Cardio Boxing FEES for drop-in classes vary and are paid directly to the instructor at the time of class.
Specifically for active adults. Focus on hand-eye coordination, balance, rhythm and fitness. Ask the instructor how this class may help minimize symptoms associated with Parkinson’s disease.
