KEY INFO PARKING

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

PARKING INFORMATION The SAE Brisbane campus is located in the cultural hub of West End, in a restricted traffic zone (Zone 2). For that reason, parking is limited to metered spaces around the campus to reduce traffic to the area. Parking in the CBD can be expensive, and often time limits are placed on specific locations, look out for signs to determine limits.

Brisbane uses an integrated ticketing system across all modes of public transport, including buses, trains and ferries. The easiest and most economical way to get around on public transport is by purchasing a concession go card and adding value to it as you travel.

STREET PARKING Metered parking: Street parking is available around the entire suburb of West End, including the streets surrounding the campus. Depending on location, parking is usually limited to 12 hours during weekdays.

BUS For students travelling by bus, make your way to one of the following stations: • Queen Street • King George Square • Cultural Centre

To find out more about council meters and fees, visit http://www.brisbane.qld.gov.au/ South Leagues Club, Jane St: Located across the road from the campus, 1-3 hour limits apply, check signs. No parking available on Saturdays due to the West End Markets. SECURE PARKING There are large secure carparks located in West End and South Bank, within walking distance to the campus. Be aware of time limits, as many car parks offer early bird discounts. You can pre-book parking spaces at http://www.secureparking.com.au • The Markets, West End, 79 Boundary St Distance: 1.1kms, 13 mins walk • West End Central, 220 Melbourne St Distance: 1.2kms, 14 mins walk • 10 Browning St, West End Distance: 1kms, 13 mins walk • SW1, 32 Cordelia St Distance: 1.5kms, 19mins walk • 140 Melbourne St Distance: 1.4kms, 17 mins walk

For more information on how to purchase and use your go card, check out www.translink.com.au/go

You will need to continue your journey on the CityGlider. Disembark at the Donkin Street stop and walk approximately 500m to the campus. For more information, visit www.translink.com.au FERRY/CITYCAT Students travelling by Ferry or CityCat have the option of disembarking at West End stop on Orleigh Street and either continuing their journey on the CityGlider or via CityCycle. Alternatively, a CityCycle station is located at the South Brisbane Train Station.
