Poor of the Poor By Mr. M.J.
A sweet loving nun once said; "that one simple act of love to a dying child, is one act of love within your soul" this nun was Blessed Mother Theresa of Calcutta. This woman of kindness has been my role model since I knew her growing up. Her love for the poorest of the poor has been the inspiration for many young adults in the world. Her love to care for all that were dying allowed me to see why, I have to help my local food banks and shelters. With so many families, kids going hungry, dying even living on the streets. We as Christians more important as Catholics - we have a duty to serve our brothers and sisters in our town, and world. We are to be humble within our mind, heart, and soul, so we can know God, hence to know love. Blessed Mother Theresa of Calcutta was always in prayer and communion with Christ. She was always at Mass to receive the Most Holy Eucharist. Remember as you walk the streets to collect food for the poor, recall the steps that Christ took and pray the Our Father and Hail Mary's while you think about how the Eucharist and Prayer is special in your heart.
