SUBJECTS COMMENTS Love it! Wouldn’t have thought my cats would like it, but they love it! Very good, easy to mix up, would love to see another flavour.
The fact Tiger ate all his food rather than graze was fantastic!
Very old cat and wouldn’t have thought I could break her eating habits, but she really looks forward to this food, really happy to be able to have the opportunity to feed her this food.
Very easy to use and store.
I thought the product was great, the texture and feel was fine. My Persians ate through the plastic and ate some dry! Great product when showing cats, in addition was easy to travel with and light to carry. Cat now has softer coat, which looks darker.
DATA ANALYSIS What is clearly evident is that the majority of cats tested ate Feline Natural immediately (72%). If those cats requiring a transition period are also accounted for, this figure further rose to 86%. When values pertaining to how the cats ate the food are analysed, 84% of cats consumed the product straight away. Such response represents what is commonly expected to be displayed in a natural evident, but of interest also casts doubt on the 57% of cat owners who claimed their cats were “fussy/picky eaters” prior to being fed Feline Natural. Regarding the recommended feeding quantities, 60% of cat owners claimed that their cats maintained weight when consuming Feline Natural, whilst the remainder consisted of the cats losing or gaining weight. It is therefore reasonable to determine that the 2% bodyweight in reconstituted food is the correct measurement for weight maintenance. Furthermore, those cats described as losing or gaining weight may either have needed to lose or gain weight respectively, or if they potentially had a greater level of energy expenditure (consequently requiring more food) should simply follow the advice on the bottom of the box namely, “use your cat’s physical appearance as a feeding guide.” Finally, 85% of cat owners responded saying that they found the feeding instructions “easy to follow”, whilst no one described them as being “hard”.
In summary, Feline Natural is a cat food which is a species appropriate diet, one in which the vast majority of cats ate straight away, including those previously described as being fussy or picky. Cat owners found the instructions both easy to follow and to feed, and in which the short term benefits for the cat such as the condition of the fur and increased energy levels were clear to see.
