Run 4 Nepal Earlier this year two major earthquakes (7.8 and 7.3 magnitudes) hit Nepal, killing over 9,000 people, affecting 5.6 million people, and leaving more than 2.8 million people displaced. Thousands of schools were destroyed during earthquakes and the aftershocks. According to UNICEF, almost one million children have now no school to return to after these devastating quakes.
