This outstanding charitable organization is committed to placing MIKEYS (public access defibrillators) in as many high-risk locations as possible, so people affected by sudden cardiac arrest might have a second chance at life. Throughout the years, The Mikey Network has expanded its reach and life-saving efforts by organizing and implementing a wide range of different programs. These charitable community initiatives include the Mikey’s Kids Program developed in conjunction with The Sick Kids Hospital, Mikey On the Go, a partnership with Toronto EMS Cardiac Safe City program, and the Mikey Young at Heart program that places defibrillators in schools across the GTA. Heathwood Homes will be making a donation to The Mikey Network on behalf of the residents of The Trails of Country Lane. Together we can save lives, make a lasting difference and help the beat go on within our community.
