Looking into the social and economic issues surrounding communities in Downtown Kingston. Focusing on the importance of public space and encouraging the celebration of Jamaican 'street' culture. Communities in downtown Kingston are commonly regarded as unsafe and hopeless. However, these communities gave us Dancehall, and many reggae superstars, including Bob Marley. This project looks at how we can begin to develop these communities, without losing the essence of Jamaican culture.
