The Skin_ The installation has a skin that wraps around the armatures. It is the element that works with the movement. As the system moves, the skin will alter its appearance between the changes from one state to the other. Materiality is a key factor in this effect. The use of fabric can be useful for its properties. It is lightweight and have the capabilities of distorting its original shape. The skin would also act as an open loop system where it can intergrate each component into one readable installation. As the user engages with one object, they will not only effect their immediate space but they will effect the space of surrounding objects.
System Components_
The overall system system works as one unit, but it is comprised of several smaller systems working together. One being the central core, another is the structural elements, and the last is the skin of the system.
