T HE T I M E I S NOW

FOR REAL CHANGE IN WASHIN GTON

‣ CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM ‣ FAIR TAX POLICIES

IT IS TIME FOR A CHANGE. REAL CHANGE. We've been listening to the GOP and Democrats talk about changing the system in Washington for decades. But instead of change we get more of the same. More money spent on campaigns. Greater corporate and special interest influence on politicians. More of politicians saying one thing then

‣ PROTECT WELL-PAYING JOBS

doing another.

‣ SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESS

And it only seems to have gotten worse with every election cycle.

The United States of America is at another crossroads, and it will take patriots to rise to the occasion once again to put their country before their ideology and political party.

I am different because POLITICS IS NOT MY CAREER. Since I don’t worry about offending big campaign donors, such as big banks, insurance and pharmaceutical companies, or oil and energy interests, I can speak honestly and directly. And I can focus on serving my constituents - the people of the 4th District - without worrying about how it will affect my campaign or fellow party members’ monetary contributions.

DEMAND MORE FROM YOUR

GOVERNMENT ‣ Public Financing of campaigns,

progressive campaign spending caps, and instant runoff voting ‣ A restructure of tax policies on those

earning the top 0.5% ‣ Reinstate selective import tariffs to

protect well-paying jobs in America ‣ Enforcing Sherman Anti Trust laws to break

up companies that are “too big to fail” ‣ Small business protection (small

businesses create 60% of US jobs) ‣ Support the renewable energy revolution

and other green technology development ‣ Solvency of Medicare and Social Security

I am different because I LIVE AND WORK IN THE 4TH DISTRICT. I didn’t move here because it was in the best interest of my political career. This is where I have decided to live, work, and raise my family. You might run into me at the hardware store, meet me at the coffee shop, or see me coaching your child’s sports team. I am different because I AM AN AVERAGE AMERICAN AND AM OUTRAGED AT THE CURRENT STATE OF OUR NATION. 2.4 million manufacturing jobs have disappeared since 2001, our national debt is climbing, the economy is based on credit instead of wages, energy costs are increasing despite reduction in consumption, we have 700 military bases in over 130 countries while the Pentagon cannot account for $2 TRILLION in expenses, and there are over 30,000 lobbyists in Washington. Our system is broken, and it is disingenuous for a representative who has spent the past 20 years in politics as part of the problem to act upset now because it’s in fashion. I am different because I HAVE REAL, VIABLE SOLUTIONS TO THE ISSUES EFFECTING OUR COUNTRY. I believe the shift in prosperity in our country to a system that benefits the few was avoidable and wrong. I have studied how and when this shift happened and have practicable ideas to correct these problems.

‣ Access to affordable Health Insurance

and Health Care ‣ Balance budgets and reduce the national

debt by decreasing spending and the size of the federal government

I am different because I WILL WORK AND FIGHT FOR WHAT’S IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE PUBLIC, not what is in the best interest of lobbyists, special interests, or large campaign donors to me or my party. And my deeds and actions will follow my word. I will be completely transparent in my decision making and welcome feedback, ideas, and suggestions from the public.
