Solution The Ryall Group chose the Lighting Science GrowAdvantage Highbay fixture as the best solution for the flowering room installation-for both the highest light output and highest efficiency LED grow fixture on the market. By replacing half the fixtures in a typical Strainwise flowering room, an average 24% increase in dry bud yield was observed while using 47% less electricity to create the light. In the head-to-head strain comparison, all but one strain showed 100% increase in conversion efficiency (g/kWh). The increase in revenue potential with the yield increase for LED comfortably made the ROI less than four months. An additional energy savings for heat removal further adds to the overall ROI.
