RWANDA PARTNERS PRESENTS
Fall Flavors | An Evening With:
JJOHN O H N HOWIE HOWIE
Dear Supporter, In 1994, the African country of Rwanda lost 20 percent of its population to genocide and war. The social, economic, and cultural fallout of this event was detrimental and has lead to disastrous poverty and many social fractures. Our organization was founded in 2004 to meet these issues head on. Rwanda Partners is dedicated to equipping the people of Rwanda to heal from the social, economic and cultural consequences of genocide. We do this by creating new industry and jobs, providing education for children and facilitating ethnic conflict resolution training throughout the country. These programs work because of the generous financial partnership with those in our community. One facet of this partnership manifests in the excellent fundraising events we host 3 to 4 times a year. “Fall Flavors: An Evening With John Howie is this fall’s exciting event in which local culinary celebrity John Howie will be making a special appearance and cooking presentation while discussing his favorite food for this fall in the pacific northwest. He will also be sharing a recipe from his upcoming cookbook. We expect 250 people to attend as it will be a great evening of food, friends and entertainment. We would love for your company to consider sponsoring part of this event. Your sponsorship provides great exposure to the local community and also goes a long way in allowing us to allocate more funds to the vulnerable widows and orphans we serve in Rwanda. While the marketing value for your company may be apparent, we have provided specific sponsorship opportunities here for your review. We look forward to hearing from you and for the possibility of your partnership as we continue to bring transformation and healing to the people of Rwanda. Sincerely,
Greg Stone Executive Director Rwanda Partners 2
