Multicultural Week at Suffield Park Infant & Nursery School – celebrating Africa At Suffield Park Infant & Nursery School we have been busy learning about Africa as part of our Multicultural Week. The week was a celebration of Africa through enriching activities such as dance, art and storytelling.

The children had great fun learning about African stories and creation myths by specialist local storyteller, Paul Jackson. He told the children stories of his own travels to Africa and shared some of his African instruments. ‘I liked the way he made his voice go squeaky for the story, it made me laugh’ a child recalled. The children learned about pattern and took part in a ‘Big Pattern Project’. The project allowed them to draw inspiration from animal and tribal prints as they produced their own pieces of art work. To round off the busy week of learning, everyone was invited to come to school dressed up. There were some brilliant and imaginative costumes including African animals, tribal face paint and traditional tribal dress.

The Search for Toto

Red Loft Theatre is following the Yellow Brick Road all the way back to the Atrium in North Walsham for its Easter production ‘The Wizard of Oz’. Dorothy, played by 16 year old Amelia Watson, needs your help to find a starring member of the cast - her best friend Toto!

Anyone who remembers the 1939 classic will recall how the aptly named ‘Terry’ the terrier stole the show with her unwavering love and support for Dorothy as she navigated her tumultuous travels over the rainbow. It is a show-stopping performance like this which Dorothy and Red Loft are looking for in their Toto. They will be holding ‘Toto Tryouts’, their very own doggie auditions, on 21 February at 7pm in St

Benet’s Hall North Walsham for everyone who believes their pup has what it takes to bring the audience to its feet. The perfect Toto should be able to follow commands, fit in a basket (sorry Great Danes) and not be scared by loud noises or sudden bangs, as well as being friendly and adorable!

The show will take place 14 -18 April at the Atrium in North Walsham. Rehearsals are Sunday afternoons.

COME AND SING!

MUSIC FOR FEMALE VOICES WITH JANET KELSEY Accompanist: Mark Jones on Saturday 7 March 10.30am – 4pm at Aylsham Methodist Church, White Hart Street, Aylsham, NR11 6HG

Whilst there are many Come and Sing days taking place in Norfolk every month, our very own Come and Sing Day on 7 March will be different as it is for sopranos and altos only.

Come and enjoy the thrill of singing a variety of three and four-part pieces for ladies' voices, from madrigals to contemporary composers. Get tips from Janet on how to improve as a soloist and as a choral singer. Fun, friendship and expert tuition will make for a very special day. A list of the songs will be circulated in advance and we will provide music on the day

The cost for the day will be £15 (payable in advance). We shall use the church for the workshops and kitchen and canteen facilities for breaks. Hot and cold drinks and biscuits will be provided. Please bring your own packed lunch. Information on parking will be provided to participants.

Please apply by telephone (Chris Yeomans on 01263 768441) or email Chris at singingwithcake@gmail.com

To volunteer your hound to be crowned, get in contact to book your audition slot either by email info@redlofttheatre.com or call 07823 556312

For all of you lovers of theatre (and dogs) don’t forget to come along and support from 14 -18 April. Tickets are available from Ticketsource or by calling 0333 666 3366.

You’d have to be barking mad to miss it!

WHY CHOOSE WHY CHOOSE SILVER SILVER & WARD WARD SOLICITORS SOLICITORS in in 2020? 20 20 ?

“It’s a recurrent misconception that a larger firm is better.”

I am Clare Mayell and I own Silver and Ward Solicitors in Sheringham. I am an extremely competent and experienced solicitor. I appreciate that any time of the year can be a difficult time for many people to resolve legal issues of worry and concern, for example, making a will or Lasting Power of Attorney. As I have worked fo or 2 larger local firms I know what clients want and expect. My charges are significantly less than other solicitors in North Norfo olk or Norwich and I provide 24 years of expertise and exceptional service. I pride myself in being one of the only solicitors who offffers a FREE FIRST APPOINTMENT, so clients can come in and obtain some initial advice and discuss costs and then make an informed decision. At a larger firm you just pay more. When a client rings or walks through the door they invariably get to speak to me as this personal and direct approach is important to my clients and I. I ensure complete confidentiality is an absolute priority. I advise new clients to “shop around” as I know that my charges are significantly less than other solicitors but I can offer the same expertise, if not better. I have and can act for clients across Norrffolk and the Country as we now have the use of Skype, emails etc. so it enables me to act for clients further afield. The reason that clients, near and far, instruct Silver and Ward is because of my expertise, exceptional service and competitive costs.

“I would say to any potential client with a legal issue or worry in 2020 to come and meet me face to face for a FREE FIRST APPOINTMENT, as you have nothing to lose but all to gain.

The Thrill of Love by Stage Direct

Following on from last year’s highly successful run of Nigel Manson's comedy Miss Marble strikes : Again! at The Little Theatre in Sheringham, Stage Direct are changing the theme this spring to a drama with a play called The Thrill of Love. This highly acclaimed award winning play depicts and dramatises the true life story of Mrs Ruth Ellis (the last woman to be hanged in England in 1955

aged 28 years) who shot and killed her lover, David Blakely. There was a public outcry and the sense of injustice, major factors that lead to the abolition of the death penalty.

Ruth made her mark as a blonde bombshell and was deemed a reporter’s dream for her tragic affair with an upper class racing driver. It may be said her lifestyle helped to condemn her in court as indeed her remorseless attitude added to her troubles. Some of the characters are real in this depiction but some are mortal manifestations of Ruth’s lifestyle at the time. This play promises to be an exciting drama that will have its audience on the edge of their seats as it weaves its way through the sometimes brutal realities of Ruth’s daily life and loves.

“The cast will go through an emotional rollercoaster during the performance which is both challenging and exhilarating at the same time” said Director Derek Bull, “In parts, the action and dialogue will give you goose bumps at the senseless brutality of the law at the time. This play is designed to make us think and examine our own lives, even today, which is what great theatre should achieve, and I think this

play does just that.”

The Thrill of Love runs on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 March at Sheringham Little Theatre at 7.30pm. Tickets are available from their Box Office on 01263 822347 or online at www.sheringhamlittletheatre.com or enquiries@sheringhamlittletheatre.com

Vicki Bumphrey, the school manager at Cromer Academy, said “It’s been great to see the Cromer community donating items for our students. I saw the Red Box Project advertised and read up about period poverty. I thought it could be an issue in our school and we wouldn’t necessarily know, as some of the girls might not want to come forward to talk about it.”

Vicki worked with the post office and Co-op to set up a donation scheme. For the last year, local people have been donating sanitary items to help students at the Cromer Academy who were affected by period poverty – or more generally needed the products unexpectedly during the school day.

Vicki said “We made it clear during assemblies that sanitary products were available for free for our students and they were welcome to help themselves. They don’t have to come and ask, or tell us, if they don’t feel comfortable – they just know where the drawer is to pop into student services and get what they need.”

From Duncan Baker, Member of Parliament for North Norfolk

Dear All, I would like to start by thanking all those who voted for me in the recent General Election. A 14,000 strong majority was a clear mandate from North Norfolk to get Brexit done, and to move forward with addressing the many important issues you talked to me about during the election campaign.

I’m pleased to say that within weeks I’m doing just that. The EU Withdrawal Agreement has been passed and, on 31 January, we will leave the European Union with the votes of the 58.9% in North Norfolk finally respected. Both locally and in Westminster, my team is taking shape. I’m proud to have a constituency office in North Walsham – where I have had so much support during the last year. Soon I will look forward to hosting regular surgeries around the constituency.

North Norfolk will be my first priority. In these first few weeks I have hit the ground running, working hard on behalf of many constituents. You may have seen me asking questions in the House about improving our ambulance response times, protecting our farming community, the environment, and what the government is doing to help our High Streets.

I have met with Matt Hancock, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, to discuss the urgent issues surrounding ambulance response times, the need for improved facilities at Cromer Hospital (with additional mental health support), and met with local ambulance staff to discuss their concerns and learn how we might provide a more responsive ambulance service for this area. This is being followed up by meeting with the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital chiefs: I want to see our Accident & Emergency unit radically improved, which will benefit many North Norfolk residents.

I have been made the Vice-Chairman of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on moving towards carbon Net Zero, and am meeting with ministers to urge them to help the farming community who are under serious threat, with some of their irrigation licences being revoked.

Of course, every day, I’m helping many people with queries and issues, and I am loving meeting incredible constituents all around North Norfolk who do so much for their communities.

There is much to do, but I am enjoying representing you and trying to make our lives better in our wonderful North Norfolk home.

I look forward to seeing you soon.

Duncan Baker, Member of Parliament for North Norfolk Cromer Times Issue 583 14th February 2020

Cromer Beach Fest is going live! This major outreach event will run between Tuesday 25 August and Friday 28 August and is set to be four days of outdoor fun, games and interactive Bible teaching with a festival vibe.

Cromer Beach Fest will be based in a large marquee in North Lodge Park, and will make use of nearby open spaces and, of course, the beach. The free event aims to engage with young people aged 0-16, providing activities, games and creative Bible teaching groups in the mornings. In the afternoons there will be activities for the whole family. Launching the event at Cromer Parish Church on Sunday, members of the Cromer Beach Fest Team said “it is going to be bright, lively, interactive, eye-catching and most likely exhausting!

Simon Fenn, Cromer Church Head of Mission said “Cromer has a long tradition of providing fantastic summer entertainment for visitors and locals alike, whether it’s the Crab & Lobster Festival, Cromer Carnival, the Cromer Pier Show or simply an afternoon on our Blue Flag beach. Cromer Beach Fest will offer children, young people and families four days of free fun and a chance to explore life with Jesus. A flavour of Cromer Beach Fest will be on offer in February half-term. “We’re inviting families to come along and enjoy an indoor Hawaiian theme beach party in the Parish Church. There will be games, craft activities

and a party pack tea, said Simon Fenn.

The Cromer Beach Fest indoor beach party takes place 3pm-5pm on Friday 21 February, free entry, donations welcome. Last October more than 150 people including 90 children enjoyed activities such as doughnut eating in the central aisle, MarioKart beamed onto the side walls and a neon disco at Cromer Church’s Light Party. Cromer Beach Fest is a brand new initiative organised by Cromer Church in partnership with other local churches and community organisations. It is built on the foundations of the SU Cromer Beach Mission which ran for many years but came to an end in 2019.

On Tuesday 14 January, after a very tasty lunch, Peter Lawrence gave a fascinating talk called ‘Beneath the City Streets’.

Peter introduced himself as a former Metropolitan Police officer working in Special Operations at Scotland Yard, looking after the Royal Family and the Embassies. Unusually, he was tasked with investigating underneath the streets of London!

Peter explained that subterranean London comprised a network of rivers (for example, the Westbourne, Tyburn and Fleet), tunnels (including the Tube and the old Post Office railway system, now a tourist attraction) and sewers. Archaeological finds from Roman, Saxon and medieval times reveal the layers of London’s history, Peter specifically mentioning the Temple of Mithras (which one can see free of charge) and the crypt beneath St Bride’s Church in Fleet Street.

The ‘Great Stink’ of 1858 led to Joseph Bazalgette building a new governmentfunded sewer system. The massive project involved using 315 million bricks and 25,000 labourers. Bazalgette also built architecturally amazing pumping stations in strategic places; they were cathedrals to sewage! To support and hide the sewers along the Thames, Bazalgette created the vast embankments that still exist today. The construction work made the river narrower, thus turning the Central London part of the Thames into a canal. At the end of the talk, Peter proposed wryly that we should close the M25 (not his favourite motorway!) and put the traffic underground, acknowledging that using tunnels in this way was not a new idea! On behalf of the 38 members present, our Chairman, Dave Williams, thanked Peter for his interesting talk.

Cromer Hospital 2020 Cancer Unit Appeal

1 in 2 people will develop cancer in their lifetime. It is extremely likely that you or someone you care about has been or will be affected.

Currently, if you reside within North Norfolk and are suspected of having cancer, your diagnosis and treatment will take place at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. However, we are delighted to announce that March 2021 will mark the opening of the new North Norfolk Macmillan Centre at Cromer Hospital. Patients residing in the towns and villages across North Norfolk will then be able to avoid the numerous lengthy journeys to the NNUH, often while feeling unwell. They will have speedy access to first-class diagnosis and treatment of cancer closer to their home.

The new services available will include Prostate Biopsy, Chemotherapy and Oncology. The new Centre will also provide 20,000 clinic, diagnostic and treatment visits per year.

The building cost is being shared by NNUH and Macmillan Cancer Support. Nevertheless, further funding is still required to purchase the highly specialised equipment, furniture etc. at an estimated cost of £500,000. Cromer Community and Hospital Friends (CCAHF) have accepted the challenge of raising this money.

The wonderful generosity of the public over the past year by fundraising and bequests to CCAHF has resulted in raising £150,000 towards our target. However, that leaves us with £350,000 still to raise in the next 12 months – a very ambitious figure for a small charity. Richard Sims WMSCh. MPSPRACT. Do I do?

by Miranda Marshall, Director, Hayes + Storr

Getting married is a legal contract. That’s why people need a lawyer to get ‘unmarried’; or, at least, the legal system oversees and regulates divorce.

The legal act with the lowest level of mental capacity necessary is that of marrying. That could explain a lot, ha ha; I hear you say!

The Court of Protection, which is the section of the court system which oversees the affairs of those unable to manage them for themselves, has recently granted permission for a 28-yearold man to marry his fiancée, even though he lacks mental capacity to manage his property and affairs.

The groom, called “P” in the reporting of the case, so as to protect his identity, has had learning difficulties since childhood. The loss of his leg in a road traffic accident resulted in him receiving an injury compensation award of £1,500,000. Adrian Mundell, P’s ‘deputy’ (i.e. the person appointed to manage P’s finances) spent P’s compensation on buying P a home and has invested the rest for P.

Early in 2019 P announced his intention to marry a woman, whom he met three years ago and who now lives with him in his home, along with her two children. One is tempted to ask Caroline Aherne’s question, on the eponymous Mrs Merton chat show, to Debbie McGee:

“What was it that first attracted you to the millionaire Paul Daniels?”, but that might be unfair.

Adrian had serious concerns about P’s decision to marry, and especially its financial implications. P had made a Will leaving everything to his parents; but as marriage revokes a Will, P would be intestate and his new wife his primary beneficiary, if P died. Adrian felt he had to take steps and so applied to the Court to prevent the marriage. As a reason he gave P’s privately-expressed indecision about the marriage and the doctor’s assessment that P is easily persuaded, has difficulty saying ‘no’, is very vulnerable and is open to being exploited. Adrian was concerned that P did not understand that if he married, and then divorced, his wife would have a financial claim. Adrian applied to the Court for a declaration that P did not have mental capacity to marry.

The judge did not agree. He noted that P had already been considered to have capacity to make a Will, for which the necessary degree of mental capacity is ‘higher than that needed validly to contract a marriage’. He said that people can have capacity to marry, without needing to understand how divorce financial arrangements work.

The judge said that the amount of P’s

compensation had been for his needs alone, and so, if the marriage went ahead and then ended in divorce, the scope of the claim of the wife would “necessarily be extremely limited”. The judge added that there were numerous legal authorities which have emphasised the near-immunity of a personal injury award from a divorce financial claim, and so, the divorcing-wife’s claim would be limited to relieving her serious financial hardship only.

And so, let us hope that they both live happily ever after.

RAF Air Defence Radar Museum - Grant from Love of the Broads

The RAF Air Defence Radar Museum is proud to announce the success of a recent application for grant funding from Love of the Broads. The grant will initially be used to record volunteers' memories in regard to their service years at RRH Neatished. Stage two of this project will be recording visitors and former Neatishead personnel who may wish to share similar stories. Manager Lynn Kerslake said she was delighted that this project has now come to fruition. Grateful thanks go to Love of the Broads as it now gives the Museum funding to purchase relative equipment and funding to display these precious memories both in digital/audio format. Accepting the cheque in January in the Cold War Room at the Museum was Trustees Carl Lamb and Nick Farmer, along with Peter Howe from Love of the Broads.

Henleys’ great year

2019 was another fantastic year for Henleys Estate Agents in Cromer.

According to statistics provided by Rightmove, in 2019 Henleys were the top selling and lettings agent in the NR27 postcodes by over 30% to their nearest competitor. To add to their success, Henleys have branched out to North Walsham where their highprofile office stands in the Market Place.

Director Ryan Ratcliffe says, “Being a family business with family values, our clients know that entrusting their biggest asset to local and experienced estate agents is key to not only getting the best possible price but also receiving the highest quality of service.”

Fellow director Jeff Cox goes on to say, “You just have to look at our on-line reviews, going the extra mile is imperative to ensure customer satisfaction. We have also been recognized and awarded Best Estate and Lettings Agent in Norfolk by the national industry publication The Build. The publication mystery shopped Henleys and the service we gave was judged as exemplary and deserving of the award. We are delighted to receive this award.”

CROMER TWINNING ASSOCIATION SEEKS FORMER/FOUNDER MEMBERS!

This year is a special year for the CTA as it is the 40th Anniversary of the launch of the Crest – Cromer Twinning. There will be an event in Crest over the weekend of 18 -23 June which coincides with the French celebrations ‘Fête de la Musique’.

Cromer has been invited to bring up to 30 people to participate in this occasion. Accommodation will be provided free ‘en famille’ around Crest, or participants can choose to book themselves rooms and pay their way if so preferred. Travel is self-funded, and the CTA group is currently booking flights from Luton to Lyon, with the Crest twinning group arranging pick up at their end. The weekend will probably include some sightseeing, as well as attending musical events, and an evening celebration with a meal and entertainment. To that end we have arranged that Eddie Bushell – well known in Cromer for his musical talents – will be coming along with us and performing for Cromer. In July last year CTA hosted a weekend for guests from Crest and Nidda which was very successful, and included trips to Norwich and Sandringham, plus local exploration of Cromer and Sheringham, with evening meals at the Rocket House Café and in the Parish Hall with food supplied by the Rock Shop Bistro and entertainment by the Norwich Accordion Band.

If you were part of Cromer Twinning from 1980 or have been involved since then either as an adult or via the school exchange visits, or you are new to Twinning but keen to make new contacts, and would be interested in joining this weekend celebration please contact Angela Wrighton asap or at the latest by March 16th, on 01263 577646 or email awrighton21@gmail.com

Priscilla Dorothy Entertains

Priscilla Dorothy again delighted shoppers at the High Street, Cromer Co-op Food store on Monday 23 December as she sang several Christmas Carols including ‘We three Kings’, ‘Silent Night’, ‘Away in a Manger’ and ‘Once upon a time in Bethlehem’.

Priscilla, who has many years singing experience, says that she just loves to entertain and it has been a lifelong love of hers. Living around the corner from her local Co-op in Garden Street, as a regular it seemed the perfect stage to entertain.

The store was packed with Christmas shoppers and the light-hearted and well-received choral interlude brought a little extra cheer.

Get your pet “summer ready” with Toll Barn Vets With the festive season finally over, many of us have made New Year Resolutions to make our own healthier diet and lifestyle choices. These choices could also benefit our pets!

Exercising is a great way of getting both you and your pet active and also a great way of bonding with your pet. Regular exercise helps keep the heart and lungs healthy, build muscle, maintain a healthy weight and provide mental stimulation.

Don’t forget exercise is not only for our canine pets, cats can be encouraged to exercise by playing with toys or using “treat balls” to give them their usual food ration, whilst rabbits can be encouraged to exercise with foraging games.

We understand it can be really difficult to monitor our pets’ weight and resist those appealing eyes asking for treats however, research from the

CT Scanners allow a complete 3D image of the pet, greatly assisting in diagnosis and management of tumours, orthopaedic disease, elbow dysplasia, spinal disease and much more!

Pet Food Manufacturers Association (PFMA) suggests 92% of owners were unaware that their pet was an unhealthy weight. This is important because as little as 20% extra weight can significantly increase the risk of diabetes, osteoarthritis, heart disease, respiratory disease and certain cancers.

Pets, much like humans, come in many different shapes and sizes and relying on numbers can be dangerous. When assessing a pets weight it is not just the number on the scales which is important. It is equally as important to use a body condition score technique rather than just relying on the numbers. It is far better to use a body condition score which assesses characteristics such as ease of feeling the ribs and waistline to determine your pets’ ideal weight.

Don’t worry – Toll Barn Vets is here to help! We understand how time consuming and difficult it can be to help your pet achieve their target weight and even to work out if your pet needs to work on their festive bulge. Our friendly team of veterinary nurses are offering free of charge nutrition clinics for our patients which include body condition scoring, advice on diets and feeding as well as general health and exercise advice depending on your pet’s condition. The clinics are free and available for dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. To book an appointment with our friendly team please give us a call on 01692 407126

SHERINGHAM & CROMER LIONS

This being the first article from the Sheringham & Cromer Lions since 2019, on behalf of our President and members I would like to wish you all readers a Happy New Year.

We finished 2019 with a Pub Dash around the public houses in Cromer, Holt and Sheringham and collected £359.25. In January we held a collection in Tesco Sheringham, and collected a further £198.53. We would like to thank all those who contributed to these collections which were both in aid of the Norfolk BIG C and other local causes. All monies raised by way of collections or via our Tombola Stall are donated to charity. We do not take out anything for administration costs, these are raised in house by our members.

WHO ARE THE LIONS you may be asking, well Lions Club International is the world’s largest service club organisation with a network of over 1.3 million men and women in over 44,000 clubs within 200 Countries who work together through selfless effective community service. Even though Lions are an International organisation the Sheringham & Cromer Lions aim is to help causes within our local community.

Being a Lion is not all about helping others we have a social side as well. We have visits to the Pavilion Theatre in Cromer, local brewery visits, indoor bowls and go out for dinner. These are just a few of the activities we do or have done.

To find out more about Lions or even come along to a meeting to see what goes on please call Hazel on 01263 821276 or email brihaz72@gmail.com you will always be welcome. The more members we have the more we can help our local community.

Pictured is Snowdrop who is gaining weight nicely. She is now 450 grams. The mild weather has meant that the hogs in the outside pens have been waking up, but it's much too early to release as there could well be a cold snap and their natural food cannot be found - so if you do see a hedgehog out at night please put out some food to help them.

Cromer Marrams Bowls Club News from the Club House ...

The short mat league season in the clubhouse continues with Bob A leading on 48 points, followed by John H 42 and Tony B 40. The leading lady is Janice with 34 points. The cup competition was delayed, temporarily, by lighting difficulties!

Air Cadets make great start to 2020

The EBA, Federation and NANSA league fixtures are all arranged along with most Friendly and Ladies fixtures, so there is a game for you, evening, afternoon and weekend. Don’t worry what standard you are, if you are enthusiastic, we can accommodate you.

Work on the green is due to begin later this month, weather permitting, and at the moment we intend opening the green to play on Saturday 18th April. Until then members and newly interested ladies and gentlemen of all ages are very welcome to enjoy our clubhouse facilities during the winter. We meet for a short mat bowls session every Wednesday afternoon at 1.45pm and meet every Friday evening from 7pm.

Details of fixtures, results, history, honours, and club news/photos can be accessed at cromermarramsbowlsclub.com or more details from Neil 01263 513901.

Having last year achieved the most success in their Squadron’s history, the air cadets from Cromer began their 2020 events on Sunday 19 January knowing they have a lot to live up to if they are to maintain the standard this year.

Woodlands Indoor Bowls Club

W

The event was the Norfolk and Suffolk air cadets cross country championships, this year held at Thetford Rugby Club.

On a very frosty morning most of the squadrons in the wing were well represented with around 180 runners taking part.

01263 825700

Holt Road Upper Sheringham NR26 8TU

Cromer took a team of 10 runners and were able to field a team in each of the boys’ races. The under 15s race attracted the most entries and Cromer’s team of Matteo Venuti, Roman Brownsell, and Joe Goldfinch, ran well finishing about halfway up the field.

Everyone Welcome Come and try the game Coaching for Beginners Normal opening hours 9am – 9pm info@woodlandsbowls.co.uk www.woodlandsindoorbowlsclub.co.uk

In the under 17s race Cromer repeated their success of last year by winning the team event with the excellent Tom Muckley finishing with a silver medal, strongly supported by Jay Peebles and Henry Wright.

CROMER LADIES LIFEBOAT GUILD Auction for Teddies

To complete an excellent day. the trio of Alex Downing, Luca Venuti and Tom Bradstock-Tye in the under 20s age group also won their race, with Alex producing a tremendous sprint over the final 100 metres to win the gold medal.

Cromer Ladies Lifeboat Guild is very pleased to report that at the Auction for the Teddy Bears £400 was raised for the Cromer Lifeboat Station. However it was found the bears were replicas and not originals as first thought, which reflected in the money made.

In the girls’ races Cromer fielded just one runner with Evie Risely running well to finish 7th in the senior race.

Very many thanks to Sue and Bob Wood for their hard work and to David who very kindly donated the bears and raising this money for the RNLI in Cromer. Beryl Mansell, Chairman Cromer Ladies Lifeboat Guild

With the finishing positions added together Cromer were delighted to be the overall winners and Norfolk and Suffolk wing champions for 2020, a great start to the year.
