RUDS first big social of the year will begin with a session in the HumSS Van Emden Lecture Theatre. Here we will outline our timetable for the year, and introduce our new members to RUDS, with a couple of drama activities on the side. We’ll then move over to Park Bar (near Mackinder and Windsor halls) to get started on our first pub crawl of term. From 9.30pm we’ll walk to town, stopping off at some of Reading’s finest establishments and finally ending up at VIP Sakura Club. Keep checking our Facebook page and website for all the gory details. Try out a typical lane swimming training session, suitable for all abilities. We may also be running BUCS ‘trials’ at the same time. These will be timed swims of various distances and strokes open to everyone. We encourage all abilities to take part, as we want to take as many swimmers as possible to the university competitions.
