Photoalbum is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Vladimir Chistyakov - Russian photojournalist, honorary polar explorer and author of this album.
Album was designed by Cultural project "RUSS PRESS PHOTO" on request of the Association of Russian Polar Explorers. Vladimir Chistyakov had worked in APN / RIA Novosti agency for 25 years, photographed hundreds of themes. This album reflects main things in his creative life - reports from the North and from Antarctica. The apogee of the author’s creation was an essay about the polar expedition along the coast of the Arctic Ocean in 1983, organized by "Soviet Russia" newspaper. For stories from the North Vladimir’s awarded the title "Honorary Polar Explorer of USSR" and awarded the "Golden Eye of Russia" from the Russian Union of Journalists.
