Have a fiesta This month, Canary Wharf’s vibrant Mexican restaurant Wahaca adds new specials to its market-style menu. These include the lamb taquito, slowcooked British lamb marinated in ancho chilli and rolled in a crispy, fried tortilla; and our favourite, the poblano taco, a crisp breaded poblano pepper, grown especially for Wahaca by Riverford Organic, topped with tomatillo and fresh tomato salsa. This month’s tacos feature alongside Wahaca classics such as Devon crab, shrimp taquitos and pork pibil tacos. Enjoy with a Margarita, or one – or two – featuring the new Mezcal & Tonics. Juices contain as little as five calories and 0.9g of sugar per 100ml, and no added flavourings and preservatives. Khaled Yafi, CEO and founder of The Berry Company, says: “We are responding to the growing demand from health-conscious consumers, who want drinks that suit their busy day-to-day lives.” The new range features best-selling flavours such as acai berry, blueberry, goji berry and pomegranate, alongside exotic offerings such as white tea and peach. £1.39 for 330ml and £2.29 for 1L, Waitrose Food, Fashion & Home, Canada Place

Tempting, tempting With the re-opening of its refurbished Canary Wharf store, Charbonnel et Walker launches a range inspired by grand Victorian houses. The Grand Ballroom features the full range of Charbonnel et Walker chocolates, including the brand’s very first, created by Madame Charbonnel in 1875. Each box is decorated with an 1890 Oscar Wilde quote from the Charbonnel et Walker archives: “The House of Charbonnel is one of the oldest ministrants to the taste for sweets, and upon their counters will be found the latest dainties…” Looking for an excuse? It’s Chocolate Week from 10-16 of this month. Charbonnel et Walker, Cabot Place
