Pastor & Wife’s 10th Anniversary Celebration at Friendlywill M.B.C.

Blessings and Honor, and Glory, they all belong to Him!!! Thank you Jesus, for blessing us. The Friendlywill family has set this time aside to recognize and honor our Pastor, Rev. Chez J. Lister Sr, for all that he does for the people of God. This year is even more special than years passed because we are celebrating Pastor Lister’s 40th Birthday (earlier this year) and now we celebrate his 10th year as Our Pastor. Our theme for this anniversary is “Our Pastor; Worthy Of Double Honour” I Timothy 5:17.
We recognize that our Pastor is called by God, to do a work that has been ordered by God himself. Called to minister to the sick in spirit, weak at heart, feeble minded and lost. Called to encourage believers to hold on and called to be a living, visible example as he leads others to Christ. Pastor Lister is also chosen by God to lead the people of Friendlywill. He was chosen by God, from among many, for this “little church on 68 th Street”. Chosen to be a missionary, to preach the gospel, each and every time he steps into that Holy Place, no matter if it is at home or away.
Pastor Lister is committed and dedicated to doing the Lord and to the work of the Lord. He is a willing vessel and is always ready to serve the Lord. He is committed to the Family of Friendlywill, with only our best interest at heart. He is not working alone, for by his side is his praying wife, Sis. Tanja Lister. She is a steadfast, selfless woman of God. She’s always lifting others up in prayer, even when she is not well herself. They have four children; Ashtyn, Chez Jr., Aaron and Taurean. The entire family is actively involved in the church, from the Sr. Choir to the Usher Board and Sunday School too. Yes, Our Pastor and First Lady are a very special blessing to the family of Friendlywill, so we’ve come together to show Pastor Lister & First Lady Lister how much we love them. Special guests have been invited to share in this great event with us. On Sunday, November 8, 2009 at 3:30pm, our guest churches will be Mt. Chapel M.B.C., Pastor E.D. Plump (Speaker) and Manchester M.B.C., Pastor R.J. Ridgeway Sr. On Friday, November 13, 2009 at 7:30p.m. our guest churches will be Faithful St. Mark M.B.C.,
14TH PASTORAL ANNIVERSARY & APPRECIATION CELEBRATION FOR PASTOR AND SIS. JENKINS The Victory Baptist Church family would like to invite the entire church community to join us for the 14th Pastoral Anniversary & Appreciation Celebration for our Pastor, Rev. W.E. Jenkins & Family on Sunday, November 8th, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. We are very proud that in addition to preaching and teaching us the Word, our Pastor is also Moderator of the Los Angeles District Association. Rev. Jenkins earned his Masters Degree from Fuller Theological Seminary and is currently enrolled there and nearing completion of his Doctorate. His lovely wife Kimberley serves as Superintendent of the Sunday School’s Children Division. She is also an educator in the Mountain View School District. Their son Jahi is very active in Sunday School and the Music Ministry. In addition to singing, he is also the church drummer. The theme for this very special occasion is “A Preacher Who Preaches The Word”, 2 Timothy 4:2. Our guest speaker will be Rev. L.E. Campbell, Pastor, Park Avenue Baptist Church, Riverside, Calif. The Mighty Male Chorus, of the Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, Pastored by Rev.
