SA1 Waterfront, Swansea

SA1 is a 40ha mixed use dockland regeneration set in the historic port of Swansea with numerous grade II listed buildings. Current development within the site comprises residential apartments; office buildings; cafĂŠs, bars and restaurants; and the Swansea sailbridge and marina.

RPS is delivering a wide range of multi-discipline services such as planning, urban design/masterplanning, engineering and graphic design on behalf of the Welsh Government.

Our team has recently coordinated the production of an Addendum Environmental Statement for the development and secured planning permission for a revised masterplan

RPS Graphic Design has produced the Detailed Urban Design Guide which contains development guidance for the Leisure Quarter which has proposed uses such as cafĂŠs, bars, restaurants and an hotel.

RPS continue to advise the Welsh Government in relation to the ongoing development of SA1.
