Jesus. For those who have a personal relationship with Christ, the name of Jesus is the most beautiful word to hear and speak. For many people, however, the name Jesus may be nothing more than a curse word or the subject of a major motion picture. There is misconception about all the characteristics and nature of Jesus Christ. This is a four-session KNOW study under the Lordship category. As students grow in their knowledge of Jesus, they also will grow in their knowledge of God. This is foundational for owning their faith.

Everyone wants to be happy. Marketing campaigns use that desire to sell products. We are led to believe that if we buy the products we will experience happiness. But happiness and joy are two different things. This is a four-session OWN study under the Character category. In order to own their faith, students need to understand what that faith is all about. As Christians, we have the promise of joy from Jesus through the Holy Spirit. This unit will help students understand the Christian character trait of joy and how it is expressed.

Family—we are all a part of a family. The problem with family is that we are all imperfect and this leads to struggles within the family. But what exactly does a family look like? What is the point behind being a part of a family? This is a four-session KNOWN study under the Relationships category. This unit of study will help students understand that God created the family—and that He has a purpose for each family. Students can live for Christ in and through their families.
