Larry Macha and Bud Jones spent last* moving rock around the perimeter of the fenced areas to make them secure. Hooray for Larry and Bud!

Dog Adoptions

A Look Back...

Leah Holly was adopted last summer by Ginny and Bob Hawk when she was a precious little ball of white fur. She’s still precious, but no longer just a little ball of fur. And she has a lot of favorite things to do—she loves to ride in the car, she likes to take dips in the pond, help pick up sticks, and run free around the farm. Bob thinks that she’s a farm dog at heart, despite the beautiful white dress she wears. Holly is one Happy (and lucky) Dog!

Funraising (sic) The Volunteer Coffee was held on Saturday, April 9. Attending were some enthusiastic folks with new ideas and energy, as well as some current volunteers. Andi DePriest was present to discuss volunteer needs at the shelter, and Ginny Hawk outlined the funraising calendar and volunteer needs. A special highlight was a slide show of adoptable pets arranged by Bob Hawk using Robyn’s pictures. Jump Start provided the rolls, muffins and donuts for the event.
