Beach & pool rules REGLAMENTO DE ALBERCA Y PLAYA

Chickees (huts) and chaise lounges on the beach and pool decks are available on first come, first serve basis, but may not be reserved before 7 a.m. if you sit at a chickee before then, you must stay with it until 7 a.m. if you wish to reserve it. If you leave towels and belongings at an unattended chickee before 7 a.m., your belongings will be removed and held at the Towel Hut, where they can be retrieved between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.

The Jacuzzi is not suitable for the very young or elderly, persons suffering from diabetes, heart disease or high blood pressure, pregnant women, persons under the influence of alcohol or medication which can cause drowsiness. No children under the age of 15 years are permitted. There is a 10-minute limit for each Jacuzzi. Do not put soap in the Jacuzzi.

No profanity allowed.

Animals are not allowed, with the exception of a trained medical certified dog, a US $400 cleaning fee will be charged.

Public drunkenness will not be tolerated (drinking age min. 18 yearsID required). Using or having illegal drugs on or around the premises will not be tolerated.

Feeding birds, iguanas, dogs or cats is prohibited.

Only Members and Registered Guests are allowed to use our Resort facilities.

Members/Guests can invite day guests, but the number of total persons shall not exceed the maximum occupancy of their suite (6 persons in 2 Bedroom and 8 persons in 3 Bedroom).

Only one chickee (hut) per suite can be reserved, chickees may not be left unattended for more than two hours, the Resort reserves the right to remove belongings from a chaise lounge and/ or a hut left unattended for more than two hours.

Loud music/parties are not allowed after 11 p.m., except on New Year’s Eve when such activity cease by 1 a.m.

Coolers, glass and ice chests are not permitted on the pool deck, glass is not permitted on the beach.

The use of soap, eating or drinking in the Jacuzzis or the pool is prohibited.

COSTA LINDA - AQUA AEROBICS

Children who are not potty trained, in diapers, swimmies or under three years old, are not allowed in the main pool, this rule will be strictly enforced, please use the “baby” pool.

Children ages of 3 to 8 may use the pool only with supervision of parents or guardian, children of 9 and older may use the main pool if they know how to swim.

All swim at their own risk.

Diving in the pool is strictly forbidden.

Running jumps from the poolside into the pool is prohibited, jumping from a stationary position is permitted.

Skateboards/hover boards/bikes are not allowed on the premises.

No se tolera la embriaguez pública, edad mínima para beber 18 años con identificación.

Prohibido portar o usar drogas ilegales dentro o cerca de las instalaciones.

Solo Socios y Huéspedes Registrados pueden hacer uso de las instalaciones del Resort con invitados de un día, respetando el total de personas máxima dentro de su suite (6 en 2 Habitaciones y 8 en 3 Habitaciones).

No se permiten fiestas/música alta después de las 11 p.m., excepto en la víspera de Año Nuevo hasta la 1 a.m.

No tomar el sol desnudo o en topless.

Un perro con certificado de asistencia, es el unico animal que se permite para acceso a la villa o el resort, se cobrará una tarifa de limpieza de US $400.

Prohibido alimentar aves, iguanas, perros o gatos.

Prohibido el uso de jabón, alimentos o bebidas en los jacuzzis o la piscina.

Solo se puede reservar una palapa por suite, el resort retirará pertenencias de un camastro y/o palapa que se deje desatendida por más de dos horas.

Todos nadan bajo su propio riesgo.

No se permiten hieleras ni vasos en la cubierta de la piscina, el vidrio no está permitido en la playa.

No se permiten el acceso a la piscina principal a niños menores de 3 años, en pañales o nadadores que no están entrenados para ir al baño, deben utilizar la piscina para “bebés”, esta regla se aplica estrictamente.

Niños de 3 a 8 años deben usar la piscina bajo supervisión de los padres o tutores, niños mayores a 9 años que sepan nadar tienen libre acceso.

No se permite bucear en la piscina.

Prohibidos los clavados hacia la piscina, solo se permite saltar desde una posición estacionaria.

No se permiten las patinetas/tablas flotantes/bicicletas dentro del resort.

El jacuzzi no es apto para personas muy jóvenes ni de edad avanzada, personas que sufren diabetes, enfermedades del corazón, alta presión sanguinea, mujeres embarazadas, personas bajo los efectos del alcohol o medicamentos que puedan causar somnolencia. No se permite el acceso a menores de 15 años. Hay un límite de 10 minutos en el jacuzzi. No use jabón en el jacuzzi.

Palapas y tumbonas en la playa y en las terrazas de la piscina están disponibles por orden de llegada, no se pueden reservar antes de las 7 a.m.. Si ocupa antes de esa hora, debe permanecer hasta las 7 a.m. para reservar, si deja toallas y pertenencias desatendidas antes de las 7 a.m., se retirarán y se guardarán en palapa de toallas, donde se pueden recuperar entre las 8 a.m. y las 6 p.m.

Although there is 24-hour security at Costa Linda Resort and Aruba is a safe travel destination, we recommend that you follow these guidelines.

Do not answer the door of your suite without verifying who it is, call the Front Desk if in doubt.

Located in the historic district of Oranjestad, the capital, Cultural Center is designed to combine modern architecture with traditional Aruban elements, creating a space that is both contemporary and deeply rooted in the island’s heritage, the center will feature a wide range of exhibits and presentations showcasing Aruba’s diverse cultural landscape, from its indigenous Arawak roots to its colonial history and vibrant modern culture.

ORANJESTAD Nestled on the shores of Paardenbaai (bay of the horses), island capital Oranjestad sprang up at the end of the 18th century, the island’s oldest monument is Fort Zoutman, built to guard the young town in 1796, the Willem III Tower was added in 1868 to function as a lighthouse, it was named after the Dutch ruler of that time, many of the city’s founders were merchants from Curaçao and they continued the tradition of commerce in their new home, today Oranjestad is a peaceful and picturesque town, its streets lined with Dutch colonial gabled houses and modern buildings such as shops, malls, banks and offices that echo the architectural style of yesteryear.

EXPLORE FURTHER Other sites of interest on the island include San Nicolas, the second largest town which grew up around the oil refinery and attracted workers from many of the British Caribbean islands. ARIKOK NATIONAL PARK Protecting one third of the island’s surface, Arikok National Park is a patchwork of rolling hills covered in cacti and bent divi trees, strange rock formations (lava, quartz diorite and limestone), caves and a stretch of coastline with beaches, dunes and rock platforms, the arid landscape is home to a surprising variety of birds including the endemic shoko or Aruba burrowing owl and prikichi or parakeet, orioles and hummingbirds, snakes, lizards, iguanas, wild donkeys and goats, despite its inhospitable appearance, Arikok has been inhabited for thousands of years, rock paintings in Fontein Cave and on huge boulders and the vestiges of ancient villages are testimony to the earliest Amerindian inhabitants.

The park is also dotted with stone dwellings or cunucu which date from the Colonial period and housed the poorest settlers and their estate workers, a network of trails traverses the park and guided tours are available.

PARQUE NACIONAL ARIKOK Con un tercio de la superficie de la isla, el Parque Nacional Arikok es un mosaico de colinas cubiertas de cáctus y árboles divi-divi, extrañas formaciones de roca (lava, cuarzo y piedra caliza), cuevas y una franja de línea costera con playas, dunas y plataformas rocosas, el árido paisaje es hogar de una sorprendente variedad de aves incluyendo el endémico shoko o el mochuelo de madriguera y el loro caribeño, oropéndolas y colibríes, asi como víboras, lagartos, iguanas, burros silvestres y cabras, a pesar de su inhóspita apariencia, Arikok ha sido habitado durante miles de años, pinturas en las rocas en la cueva Fontein, en rocas gigantes y los vestigios de pueblos antiguos son testimonio de los primeros habitantes amerindios.

The Donkey Sanctuary in Santa Lucia was founded in 1997 to provide a home for stray animals and for a glimpse of Africa you can also call in at the Ostrich Farm.

EXPLORE MÁS ALLÁ Otros sitios de interés en la isla incluyen a San Nicolás, el segundo pueblo más grande alrededor de la refinería de petróleo que atrajo a muchos trabajadores de las islas británicas caribeñas, conservado sus costumbres, como el calipso, el carnaval, las bandas de metálica y la cocina, logrando un ambiente único en la comunidad, los visitantes pueden explorar las ruinas de los fundidores de oro del siglo XIX en Bushiribana y Balashi o las formaciones de roca en Casibari y Ayo. El Donkey Sanctuary (Santuario de Burros) en Santa Lucia se fundó en 1997 convirtiendose en una casa para animales abandonados, puede visitar la Ostrich Farm (Granja de Avestruz) para un vistazo por África.

El parque también está invadido de cavernas las cuales datan del periodo Colonial y albergó a los pobladores más pobres y los trabajadores de las fincas, una red de senderos atraviesa el parque y hay tours guiados disponibles.

BUTTERFLY FARM See some of the world’s most beautiful and colorful insects at the Butterfly Farm.
