Hannah Henderson The most important thing that I have learned about myself in relation to my career path is that it’s going to take some work to get to where I want to be and what I want to do. But I really just need to stay focused and keep my eyes on the prize. What I’ve learned impacts my future because it motivates me to stay focused on me and to be successful. I picked the budget project because it’s a good way for me to keep in mind how I could be living in about 10 years. For my budget project in 10 years I would be living good; having a nice house, nice car, getting paid well and still having enough money to do extra stuff. Having this here to look at just encourages me to do right and go to school. I choose my Autobiography because it’s something that’s important to me. It tells a little bit about me and my life. It’s kind of just a reminder that I want to live a better life than I had while I was younger and to give my kids a better life as well. In my autobiography it talks about how my parents got a divorce when I was real young and how I moved around a lot because my dad is in the military. I don’t want any of that for my kids or me…. Again. I want my first marriage to be my only marriage and I don’t want my kids going to 4 or 5 different high schools. Next I picked out the smart goals work sheet because I need something stating my goals so I don’t lose focus and get off track. The smart goals worksheet says that in the next 6months to a year my goal is to be in college and to almost done or done with my first year of college. I picked my family tree because it tells my family history. It also shows that a lot of my family is in the medical field and that’s the field that I want to go into. It reminds me that a lot of my family members are successful and that I want to have the success for myself. So it motivates me to push myself. I picked out my career interest because obviously it has a lot to do with my future. It’s the job that I could have for the rest of my life. I need to keep these in mind so I know what I’m trying to become in life.
