WHERE ARE YOU FROM?

ANSWER: I was born in Cleveland, Ohio, but I spent most of my life in Atlanta. My family moved here during my high school years. Other than my medical training, I have called Atlanta home ever since.

WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO ATLANTA?

ANSWER: When I was younger, my father’s job was transferred to Atlanta. I met my future bride when I was visiting Atlanta during the winter break of my first year of medical school. After residency training, we both wanted to move back to be close to our families. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE UROLOGY AS YOUR SPECIALTY?

ANSWER: If I had to sum it up in one word, it would be “variety.” The field of urology includes the treatment of a tremendous variety of conditions in all age groups, whether it be with a medication, a minor procedure, a more intricate surgery, or merely some sound advice. Having all of these options available has allowed me to choose several areas of interest, robotic surgery being my primary focus.
