Campus Facilities Rossall School is located on a 160-acre site, ideally situated on the impressive coastline of North West England. Beautiful evening sunsets are admired from our ver y own beach by pupils from all over the world. The spacious campus has extensive sports and recreation facilities which include a heated swimming pool, squash courts, tennis courts, fives courts, a moder n all-weather sports pitch, a multi-use games area, two indoor sports halls, extensive sports pitches and a fitness suite.

Accommodation & Meals Whilst at Rossall Summer School students will live in comfortable single or double rooms in one of our supervised boarding houses. Each house has a comfortable living space where students can relax and socialise. The day room contains a TV, DVD player and games facilities. The house also boasts a kitchenette for making snacks and dr inks, and computers with inter net access. Students will eat breakf ast, lunch and dinner in our Har r y Potter-esque Dining Hall each day. If the g reat Br itish weather per mits, students will also enjoy regular BBQs and themed evenings, where students can sample var ious cuisines from around the globe.

Creative & Sports Activities For students who choose not to take part in one of our specialised skills, there is a vast range of other creative and sports activities to enjoy. Rossall Summer School runs an exciting prog ramme of creative activities, suitable for children of all ages, as part of the Summer School prog ramme. After a mor ning of studying, pupils can enjoy an after noon of sport and activities. In the evenings there will be a social prog ramme designed to build fr iendships, tr y out new skills and enhance the enjoyment of the Summer School. They will also get the oppor tunity to mix with our English boarders, encourag ing them to socialise using the English language.

Excursions We have an exciting and diverse range of excursions as part of the Summer School package. As well as providing a g reat day out, they will broaden the students’ cultural, histor ical and geog raphical understanding of the United Kingdom, and they are a g reat opportunity to tr y out the English language skills they have lear nt. Travel, food and g roup activities are included in the course fees. Additional dr inks, refreshments, souvenirs and personal shopping are extra and should be paid for by the student. City Trip We offer two city tr ips at Rossall Summer School: Edinburgh – 26th July 2017 York – 16th August 2017 The students will leave Rossall in the mor ning and travel by train, retur ning to school in the evening. There is an additional charge of £100.00 per student to join the city tr ips which includes travel, lunch and any planned activities. This is a g reat opportunity for students to see more of the UK dur ing their stay here at Rossall School.
