God Protects Daniel
(Daniel 6)
The Bible tells a story about a man named Daniel who loved God very much. Every day Daniel prayed to God. There were some angry men who didn’t love God and hated Daniel. They forced the king to make a bad rule. The rule said that if anyone prayed to God, they must be thrown into a den of hungry lions. The king liked Daniel and didn’t know that this rule would hurt Daniel. Do you think Daniel stopped praying to God? No, he did not. So when the men caught him, they threw Daniel in the lions’ den. But God did not let the lions hurt Daniel. The king was happy that God helped his friend. Aren’t you happy, too?
