It was adapted by Eric Ambler, directed by Roy Ward Baker, and filmed in the United Kingdom. The production team, supervised by producer William MacQuitty, used blueprints of the ship to create the sets accurately, while Titanic fourth officer Joseph Boxhall and exCunard Commodore Harry Grattidge both worked as technical advisors on the film.

ADVENTURE CALL OF THE WILD 1935 RUN TIME 95 MINUTES The Call of the Wild is a 1935 American adventure film adaptation of Jack London's novel of the same name. A prospector heading for the Alaska gold rush rescues a sled dog from its cruel master. Stars Clark Gable and Loretta Young had an affair during the film's production, resulting in Young's hushed-up pregnancy and the birth of their daughter Judy Lewis (1935-2011). This was also the last film released under the 20th Century Pictures' banner before it merged with Fox Film Corporation to create 20th Century-Fox. CALL OF THE WILD 2009 RUN TIME 105 MINUTES A modern-day retelling of Jack London's classic novel. A recently widowed man in Montana takes his granddaughter in for several weeks while her parents are out of the country. When a wild wolf (Wolf-dog hybrid) shows up injured on the back porch one night, the granddaughter wants to take it back to Boston as a pet, but her grandfather knows the wolf will eventually have to return to the wild.

After suffering a small breakdown in front of her students, Sybil is given a neurological examination by Dr. Cornelia Wilbur, a psychologist. Sybil admits to having blackouts and fears they are getting worse. Dr. Wilbur theorizes that the incidents are a kind of hysteria, all related to a deeper problem. BIRDMAN OF ALCATRAZ RUN TIME 149 MINUTES Birdman of Alcatraz is a 1962 film starring Burt Lancaster and directed by John Frankenheimer. It is a fictionalized version of the life of Robert Stroud, a federal prison inmate known as the "Birdman of Alcatraz" because of his life with birds. In spite of the title, much of the action is set at Leavenworth prison where Stroud was jailed with his birds. When moved to Alcatraz he was not allowed to keep any pets.

BONNIE & CLYDE RUN TIME 112 MINUTES Bonnie and Clyde is a 1967 American crime film directed by Arthur Penn and starring Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway as the title characters Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker. The film features Michael J. Pollard, Gene Hackman, and Estelle Parsons, with Denver Pyle,Dub Taylor, Gene Wilder, Evans Evans, and Mabel Cavitt in supporting roles. The screenplay was written by David Newman and Robert Benton. Robert Towne and Beatty provided uncredited contributions to the script; Beatty also produced the film. The soundtrack was composed by Charles Strouse. CAPONE RUN TIME 119 MINUTES Capone (1975) is an American crime film directed by Steve Carver. The story is of the rise and fall of the inf mous Chicago gangster Al Capone and the control he exhibited over the city during the prohibition years. Starting in 1918, he hangs out with other gangs until he is found by gangsters Johnny Torrio (Harry Guardino) and Frankie Yale (John Cassavetes). Then he pushes his way into the Chicago Underworld, battling mobsters Hymie Weiss and George "Bugs" Moran, and romancing flapper Iris Crawford (Susan Blakely). 7


COMEDY CANNONBALL RUN RUN TIME 96 MINUTES The Cannonball Run is a 1981 comedy film starring Burt Reynolds, Roger Moore, Dom DeLuise and Farrah Fawcett, and was directed by Hal Needham. MA & PA KETTLE AVERAGE RUN TIME 80 MINUTES Ma and Pa Kettle are comic film characters of the successful film series of the same name, produced by Universal Studios, in the late '40s and '50s. COMEDY SHAINGHAI NOON RUN TIME 110 MINUTES Shanghai Noon is a 2000 American martial arts action comedy western film starring Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson. The film, set in Nevada and other parts of the American West in the 19th century, is a juxtaposition of a western with a kung fu action film with extended martial arts sequences. It also has elements of comedy and the "Buddy Cop" film genre, as it involves two men of different personalities and ethnicities (a Chinese imperial guard and a Western outlaw) who team up to stop a crime. It was partially filmed in the Canadian Badlands, near Drumheller and also near Cochrane, Alberta.

JEWEL OF THE NILE RUN TIME 107 MINUTES The Jewel of the Nile is a 1985 romantic adventure film, and a sequel to the 1984 film Romancing the Stone, with Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner, and Danny DeVito reprising their roles. Directed by Lewis Teague, the film sends its characters off on a new adventure in a fictional African desert, in an effort to find the precious "Jewel of the Nile."

The film follows a wealthy couple with a seemingly perfect marriage. When their marriage begins to fall apart, material possessions become the center of an outrageous and bitter divorce battle. This is the third film to co-star Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner, and Danny DeVito, after Romancing the Stone and its sequel, The Jewel of the Nile. DeVito directed the film.

THE FIRST WIVES CLUB RUN TIME 103 MINUTES The First Wives Club is a 1996 comedy film, based on the best-selling 1992 novel of the same name by Olivia Goldsmith. Narrated by Diane Keaton, it stars Keaton, Goldie Hawn, and Bette Midler as three divorced women who seek revenge on their ex-husbands who left them for younger women. TURNER & HOOCH RUN TIME 99 MINUTES Turner & Hooch is a 1989 comedy drama crime film starring Tom Hanks and Beasley the Dog as the eponymous characters, Turner and Hooch respectively. Scott Turner (Tom Hanks) an obsessively neat police investigator, acquires Hooch (Beasley the Dog), a large and slobbery Dogue de Bordeaux, after the murder of Amos Reed (John McIntire), a local junk-yard owner who was a friend of Turner's. Turner is bored with little police work in the fictional town of Cypress Beach, California and is set to transfer to a better job in Sacramento while fellow investigator David Sutton (Reginald VelJohnson) is to be his replacement. 9

In 1978, a young Dave Buznik is about to kiss the girl of his dreams, when a local bully, Arnie Shankman, pulls down his pants and underwear, embarrassing him in front of everybody. This leaves Dave with lasting trauma about public affection, as well as repressing his emotions. In the present day, Dave Buznik lives in New York, working as a secretary for Frank, an abusive boss who takes credit for Dave's work. HEART BREAKERS RUN TIME 123 MINUTES Heartbreakers is a 2001 caper-romantic comedy film directed by David Mirkin. It stars Sigourney Weaver, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Ray Liotta, Jason Lee, and Gene Hackman. Weaver was nominated for a Golden Satellite Award for her performance in the film. The plot revolves around an elaborate con set up by a mother-daughter team to swindle wealthy men out of their money, and what happens during their "last" con together.

BEACHES RUN TIME 123 MINUTES Beaches (also known as Forever Friends), is a 1988 American comedy-drama film. The story is of two friends from different backgrounds, whose friendship spans more than 30 years through childhood, love, and tragedy: Cecilia Carol "C.C." Bloom (Bette Midler), a New York actress and singer, and Hillary Whitney (Barbara Hershey), a San Francisco heiress and lawyer.

WATER BOY RUN TIME 90 MINUTES The Waterboy is a 1998 American sports/comedy film directed by Frank Coraci. Bobby Boucher is a socially i inept, stuttering water boy with hidden anger issues due to constant teasing and excessive sheltering by his mother. He became the water boy for the University of Louisiana Cougars after being told his father died of dehydration in the Sahara while serving in the Peace Corps. However, the players always torment him and the team's head coach, Red Beaulieu, eventually fires him for "disrupting" his practices.

BRINGING DOWN THE HOUSE RUN TIME 105 MINUTES Bringing Down the House is a 2003 American comedy film, written by Jason Filardi and directed by Adam Shankman. The film stars Steve Martin and Queen Latifah. Peter Sanderson (Steve Martin) is a workaholic tax attorney corresponding with an online friend known only as "lawyergirl". On their first blind date, Peter learns that "lawyer-girl" is Charlene Morton (Queen Latifah), a wrongfully convicted bank robber claiming her innocence who wants Peter's help in getting the charges dropped.
