Enjoy Romford This Christmas

R

omford is a wonderful place for everyone to shop, live and enjoy life to the full. Throughout the borough you’ll find parks with acres of green space to explore at your leisure in the run up to Christmas. And if you want to walk off your Christmas lunch then all of our parks are open on Christmas Day and throughout the holidays. For the book lovers among you, Central Library has a huge selection

of printed books as well as lots of fun arts and craft activities for all ages in the run up to Christmas. You can also download a wide range of audio and ebooks at anytime, day or night. If you’re keen to learn about the history of the borough, be sure to visit Havering Museum located on the site of the old Romford Brewery. The museum, which opened earlier this year, provides a fascinating insight on the rich background of

the area, focusing on people who have lived and worked in Havering. In the run up to Christmas there will be something for all ages – Christmas card making, advent readings and the opportunity to share memories about Christmas past and present.
