Wind TurbinesGreen technology
MY VISION To explore TECHNOLOGICAL advancements of the company in the field of SELF SUSTAINABLE SPORTS cars because the company is already proceeding towards greener (hybrid) technology.
Battery The battery delivers the power to the hub wheel motors and also simultaneously store power generated by the wind turbines and regenerative brakes.
Wind Turbine Wind turbines generate power while the car is moving. Hence, recharging the battery pack.
LAYOUTS Hub wheel motors Motors deliver the power to the wheels and also there are regenerative brakes for recharging of batteries.
Car would initially move with the help of BATTERY and then due to blowing wind the WIND TURBINES would generate power and transfer it to batteries. Hence, highly SELF SUSTAINABLE POWER
One unified surface. All the mass would be concentrated at the centre of the car.

DEVELOPMENT The whole exterior was inspired by Ray and wind tunnel technology.
Thin panels and hollow space makes car more lighter. Hence following McLarenâ€™s Philosophy of lightweight cars.

REAR Rear of the car has to create a lot of down force to keep car on the ground at high speeds.

DETAILS VERTICAL WIND TURBINE
This turbine can rotate and generate energy; no matter what is the direction of the wind.
Night view of the beautiful wind turbine; Turbine shines when the break is applied The tunnel is inspired by the feeding process of the Manta ray. Same principle was applied; maximum air is let in and used by the wind turbines.

INTENT To design an ICONIC ENJOYABLE SELF SUSTAINABLE bus, capable of occupying PERSONAL MOBILIT Y VEHICLES inside it.

Conical rotating solar cell
SELF SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGY Conical rotating cell- produces electrical energy twice as much as a regular solar cell. PLED(Polymer Light emitting diodes)- emits light when electricity is passed through it During day the solar cells would generate electricity and also recharge the batteries and during night time, PLED would emit light using the charge from the battery.
IDEATION & FORM EXPLORATION
The idea was to have a rotating conveyor belt where the personal mobility vehicles could be parked and the 1st floor for more of a social space.
INTERIOR Tried placing the two conveyor belts one in the front and back each. The rear part is slightly bigger to occupy bigger vehicles.

Interior should reflect on the exterior and also we took inspiration from architectural forms
The energy source of the bus: SOL AR CELL. Outer shell have PLED and the inner shell is solar cell.
Electricity generated is passed through this network and also act as the hook for the grab handles for the 1st floor
Ingress and egress of personal mobility vehicles and walking
Ground Floor features Hard Translucent Plastic swing shaped seats. They are made in the shape of swing so that more and more people are attracted towards them. Seats also have handle for the safety of the passengers. There are also lounge seats.
Ground Floor features Flexible Translucent Plastic seats. The seats are again having back support of the Hard plastic for maximum support. There are also handles in-between the seats.

Passengers in personality mobility vehicles would enter from the FRONT and REAR of the bus and the walking passengers would enter from the side door

After entering, the user can keep the vehicle for charging (chargers are hung on the centre wall).Meanwhile the conveyor belt will rotate and make the user face towards the interior of the bus.

The roof would house beautiful solar cells which would generate the energy for the entire bus during day time. And during low lighting conditions, the outer shell of the solar cell(made of PLED) would glow and provide light to the interior of the bus. There are also handles for the people standing

ID A photographer living in Kenya. He wants a car that could assist for his passion and also for his daily use.
DEATION & DEVELOPMENT
The main intention was to create more space on the car itself to assist the photographer to take photos in the wild. The car features flat base which goes all around the car to help the user to stand wherever he wants to click pictures. Car could be used as a dolly also.

Picha logo in the wheels and also on the B-pillar. Hence,enhancing the main feature of the car.
Mobius text on the sides and rear of the car.
The user can climb-on the car using steps to click photos form very different angle. There is a storage space on the sides of the car which can be used to keep his equipments.

The Oneness of horse and rider
It has it’s origins of early Japanese archery called Yabusame around 300 AD.
“Relation between horse and rider” Archers would take their bows, mount their horses for honour, battle or entertainment.

How Mazda implemented this idea.
Intent while implementing - The driver’s body should be relaxed and tension free so that the body remains flexible and is physically ready for the next move. To achieve that - Mazda focused on an astronaut floating around space in zero gravity, where there is no force on human muscles, each joint naturally bends at a certain angle. To achieve the bonding - They made very small yet very effective changes in the car such as change in the location of shift lever, that made gear shifting very effortless just like the horse that changes it’s gait.
“The car has adjusted for the ease of the user” Small minute details like these made it possible to achieve the level of bonding.

Understanding of Jinba Ittai. Next steps.
The idea is more about how the car can make driving more effortless for the driver through minor yet effective adjustments keeping in mind the similar emotional and soulful bond of horse and rider where the horse adjusts it’s gait to support the archer. Find new directions based on the intension of Jinba Ittai - Same intension of strong bond between the car and the driver but with a different inspiration. Resulting in new design directions and new ways of creating this EMOTIONAL bond.
