Sports Name: Beth Year: 11 House: Pegasus Roedean Moira House Beth is already a champion triathlete, training for anything between 17 and 20 hours a week on the track, in the pool and on her bike. She hopes to be good enough at triathlon to compete in the 2024 Olympics. She has also represented the GB Youth Triathlon Team for the European Championships in Austria. She truly is a role model for the other girls; she puts in the hours, never complains, and is modest to boot! I know she will go far. Mrs Amie Legate, Director of Sport

My name’s Beth, and I’m in Year 10, House Pegasus. We chose Roedean, Eastbourne because we thought the Sport provision was excellent, and after being bullied in my last school the girls-only environment was a welcome relief. I’m loving GCSE PE, and if it wasn’t for the amazing PE teachers I might never have got into netball. The teachers have really helped in my training and I have progressed quickly to the A Team, and have a match next week. The School has been really accommodating if I have ever needed time off for my sporting commitments, such as Crosscountry, Triathlons, Swimming and Netball. My favourite part of Roedean, Eastbourne is the sports on offer, but also my friends! Beth
