From the Desk of A. Beyel November 2025

Dear Members, Guests, and Friends,
November has arrived, and while Florida was fortunate to avoid hurricanes this year, the rain certainly brought its own challenges. A huge thank you to our entire team for keeping everything running smoothly, and to Jerry and his crew for their continued commitment to improving the course. The results are showing, and as we wrap up our 2025 projects, planning is already underway for even more improvements in 2026. Hats off to Matt, our Golf Professional, for growing lesson programs and keeping play strong across the board. With the help of Staci and Dalton, the golf operations team continues to bring energy, organization, and enthusiasm to every day on the course. From the cart barn to the banquet team, our staff continues to impress. Their teamwork, professionalism, and genuine care for the Club make a difference in everything we do. Our newest team member, Kristi, is bringing the heat with her organization and event sales, she’s already making a great impact! A big thank you to Monet, who stepped in to support marketing while Kaylee was out on maternity leave. Monet has been a huge help and will soon be welcoming her own new arrival in November. Congratulations and thank you for all you’ve done.
All my best,

Andrea Beyel, GM Rockledge Country Club
Jason and Chef are leading the Food & Beverage team into a busy season with great energy and focus. I can’t wait to see our snowbirds return and join in everything happening around the Club. As the holidays approach, we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone for our Thanksgiving Buffet. Reservations are filling quickly, and our new online portal makes it easier than ever to secure your table. Mark your calendars to celebrate the season with a Pop-Up Christmas Party in The Vue on December 20 , and a special evening of Prime Rib Dinner in the Ballroom. The Pro Shop will be celebrating with Holiday Specials on December 10th, and golfers won’t want to miss the Platinum Coast Invitational taking place December 13–14 . For our pickleball players, we’re hopeful the new lights will be shining bright by the time change. Don’t forget to set your clocks back on November 2 . With shorter days ahead, please note that the Pro Shop will now close at 5:00 PM for the season. Here’s to a beautiful fall seaso r great month at Rockledge Country th th nd

COURSE MAINTENANCE UPDATE

I certainly hope we are reaching the end of the rainy season. My goodness, this last event was a bad one! We had a lot of bunker repairs, drainage washout areas, tree debris and grass debris ribbons everywhere! We are just beginning to clean up as I write this, so I hope there are no more surprises.
We are planning on opening the new tee on hole 13 November 1st. By the time you get this letter it should be open. Also, tee overseeding will take place towards the end of November. Once again, there will be some watering during the day to help keep the seed moist to facilitate a quick germination.
We are getting close to having all our cart path entrance and exit areas completed. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation during the construction phase. We hope this new addition will create a better transition from path to grass that will spread the wear and allow the turf to survive the winter season. The cooler weather is already having a positive effect on green speeds. The Diamond Zoysia is a warm season grass that grows aggressively during the summer months, making it difficult to achieve faster speeds. Now that the cooler weather is arriving, very little growth means a quicker surface. I think most of you appreciate that!
Yours in Turf,
Jerry Yeomans

GOLF PRO UPDATE

Season is officially here as we welcome back many of our seasonal members and guests each day. We are thrilled with the condition of the course heading into season along with our event calendar which is offering a wide array of golf and learning opportunities for everyone.
On the lesson tee, our Ladies Operation program is halfway through their fall season and progressing nicely. We have a record turnout for this program and are already in the planning stages for the next offering in Spring of 2026. This program offers some well-rounded instruction and starts the players close to the hole and works back to more challenging yardages.
Our PGA Junior league team is off to a 2-0 start and are seeking their 3rd straight local championship. This year’s team has a great mixture of returning players and some new players who are experiencing their first competitive golf events. For those needing some private lessons, feel free to reach out to Dalton, Staci, or myself for assistance, golf lessons also make for some great gift ideas.
In the golf shop, we have had several new arrivals with many more coming in November. A new line of Men’s FootJoy shirts has arrived, along with some great-looking Ladies and Men’s Antigua pieces with some outstanding pricing. We also have some cool weather logo gear from Nike which is perfect for the chilly winter morning and evenings.
Also, mark your calendars for a Golf Shop Holiday shopping Evening scheduled for Wednesday December 10th from 2:00PM – 6:00PM in the RCC Golf Shop. We will have some amazing items and some Holiday specials for this night only.
Tournament season is right around the corner, be on the lookout for many great events upcoming including the following:
-FSGA Interclub Matches for both Men and Ladies (January – March)
-Platinum Coast Invitational presented by World Insurance (December 13-14)
-Ladies Club Championship (February)
-Men’s Club Championship (March)
-Men’s Match Play Championship (April)
As we get closer to each event we will be offering much more detailed information on each event.

Thank you for your continued support of the golf operations,
Matt Morrison, PGA Head Golf Professional
