See how simple it is? What does Google want you to do? They want you to search for something, don't they? That's what's called their 'Most Wanted Response'. And when you search, they show you search results based on the keyword you searched on, PLUS 'Sponsored' results which are advertisements paid for by people with products or services they want to sell you. And every time you click on one of these ads, called Google Adwords ads, Google earns a commission,. Google makes a fortune because their site is focused on one thing and one thing only...getting you to search for something so they can show you ads. What the client did was set her website up based around the main 'keywords' that people search for using search engines in her market. She used a system called Site Build It because it makes the process of building a simple, functional website that ranks well in the Search Engines much easier than most other methods. The way she optimized her website following our recommendations meant that she now ranks on the first page of Google, Yahoo and MSN for several of her main keywords. This brings her free traffic from the search engines, meaning that she pays nothing for her online marketing. With every prospect potentially being worth thousands of dollars to her business, this free traffic is very valuable to her. Step 2 - Write a free Report and offer it from your website after capturing your visitor's name and email address After building a simple, straight forward website, our client's Most Wanted Response is for people to request a copy of a Free Report she had written (actually it's a White paper created several months earlier). People can download this Report from the website after they complete a form and leave their name and email address. You will notice I've followed the exact same strategy here on this website. You gave me your name and email address in order to access this Report. The principle is exactly the same no matter whether you are selling chopsticks, shoes or aircraft. Make an offer to share information your customers want to know about, and ask them to give you their name and email address in exchange for it. Some notes about your Free Report If you've been in business more than a couple of months you'll most likely know exactly what people in your target market want to know, so your Free Report is the perfect opportunity to tell them all about how you can solve their problems better than anyone else in your industry. Remember these points as you write your report •

It's all about THEM. Answer their questions and solve their problems, don't make your report a blatant pitch for your services

Be conversational in your writing - talk to one person at a time, not to a group of prospects, and use short, punchy sentences

Talk about what's important to your prospects and not what you want

Remind them of the pain they are currently feeling because they aren't currently using your product or service

Make your reader feel that pain by giving them examples that they can relate to

Show them PROOF that others have relieved their pain after buying your product or service through the use of testimonials or pictures

Motivate your prospect to take action NOW by hitting them over the head with benefit after benefit so they have no alternative but to give you their business

Remember, a simple, straight to the point letter showing that you understand your prospect's main problems, biggest concerns and major challenges, followed up by an irresistible offer for a solution they can take use today, is one of your most powerful marketing tools. The only thing that matters is results! What you need from your marketing, especially online, is RESULTS, and you certainly don't need a beautiful website to achieve them. Your results are not dependent on the colours you choose, or the pictures you show your visitors, or the typestyle you format your text with. These are technicalities that too many business owners get wrapped up in. What really sells isn't the design, but the WORDS you write to let your prospect know that you understand him and his problems...and the proof you use to show that you know how to solve those problems better than anyone else. This is where the success lies in marketing your business... OK, so once your prospect has downloaded your Free Report, it's time for step 3... Step 3 - follow up with each prospect by phone, email and/or fax after they have had an opportunity to read the Free Report All that's left now is to follow up with each prospect by email, telephone, in person or by fax.
