The verb to be is one that is translated into Spanish as being or be conjugated depending and time and subject. The verb to be in its present form has three ways of conjugating: am (I), is (he, she, it), are (you, they, we); whereas in the past only has two: was (I, he, she, it) and Were (you, they, we).
