User Scenarios State of the USA, Washington, DC Developed user scenarios and wire frames to identify and establish the fundamental principals for State of the USA, a nonprofit organization that assembles and digitally disseminates high-quality measures and data as a public service. These scenarios are being used to acquire funding and guide the core development of the State of the USA mission, web presence, assets, and functional tools.

MyLOC.gov The Library of Congress, Washington DC Created the information architecture and user interface for the online presence of the New Visitors Experience known as MyLOC.gov. Produced a variety of documentation to detail functional requirements for MyLoc.gov which included multiple site indices, workflow diagrams and wire frame documents.

NPS.gov National Park Service, Department of the Interior, Washington, DC Designed and documented a flexible and comprehensive content platform for the diverse publishing needs for the 392 individual park service unit websites. Established, integrated, and documented a consistent information architecture, content strategy, and taxonomy.

Senior Strategist Threespot Media, Washington, DC Responsible for defining successful strategies for client projects including multimedia, print, identity suites, web sites, web-based applications and technology solutions. Gather, define, and clarify clients’ business objectives, brand, and audiences, and translate this understanding into documentation that defines the “big idea” and guiding creative vision that will shape the entire project. Work closely with other members of the User Experience group (Information Architect, Creative Writers, and Design Technologists) as well Project Managers, Art Directors, and Technical Leads.

Independent Contractor Digital media user experience consultant for a variety of clients and disciplines. My roles included but were not limited to: prototype developer for executive level initiatives at AOL; lead strategist, information architect, and interface designer for the National Park Service; user experience designer and information architect for National Geographic; and information architect and user interface designer for the Library of Congress.

Worked closely with clients to develop for their specific needs. Managed time lines, subordinate design and development staff members, and all remaining resources needed for the completion of all digital media projects produced by Dennis | Konetzka | Design Group.
