CHALLENGE To develop content and design for thought leadership documents highlighting security issues and challenges to executive level customers across key market segments. APPROACH Through a combination of interviews with product experts, background reading and detailed research, RMA produced content for an extended executive report and shorter summary document in each industry vertical. The final report text was typeset in an attractive layout of between 16 and 28 pages. Each booklet also featured illustrative data and diagrams presented in a pictorial or ‘infographic’ style for easy reference.

SALES GUIDE AND INFOGRAPHIC FOR BACKUP LAUNCH CLIENT Symantec (UK) SECTOR Information Technology CHALLENGE To present the relevant statistical data, client pain points and key product information in an accessible and engaging style, facilitating sales staff learning with the ultimate goal of growing revenues on backup products. APPROACH Integrating the existing “We’re going places” strapline into the new designs, RMA created a series of graphics around the theme of space travel to launch the internal sales guide. The factual content was then distilled and condensed into an infographic poster as a ‘bitesize’ revision tool.

GAMING STATION (1 & 2) ENABLEMENT CAMPAIGNS CLIENT Symantec (EMEA) SECTOR Information Technology CHALLENGE To provide channel partner sales teams with a fun, competition-based learning platform to strengthen their knowledge of six key products. APPROACH RMA developed a different Flash game and quiz to highlight key features of each product. The Gaming Station microsite ran each game in sequence for a fixed period of time, during which registered users could play repeatedly to reinforce their learning. A live leaderboard backed by a sophisticated database displayed the best cumulative score for each player, and the top fifty worldwide were awarded a prize, purchased and delivered by RMA.

CHALLENGE To develop and build a thought-leadership microsite targeting SMBs that are migrating third-party software to the cloud with a view to selling complementary support products. APPROACH Developing the design, concept and straplines for this email archiving product, RMA produced a complete microsite to an extremely tight deadline. As well as building a product information page and resource download area, RMA designed a dynamic “5 reasons” presentation for the home page, a static infographic version of the same content, and an archiving-themed viral game to drive traffic to the site.

MARGIN BUILDER FLASH ANIMATION CLIENT Symantec (EMEA) SECTOR Information Technology CHALLENGE To produce a range of multi-language videos explaining the concept and registration process of an online incentive tool for resellers. APPROACH RMA storyboarded and scripted the video extensively before production to ensure that the visual and audio content could work both together and independently. The storyboards were then developed into a Flash video, and the translated scripts recorded by voiceover artists to match specified time markers, so the same animation could be understood by partners across the EMEA region.

WONDERWALL EVENTS CLIENT Symantec (EMEA) SECTOR Information Technology CHALLENGE To create an interactive feature to generate interest and feedback at exhibition stands during various events across the UK and Europe. APPROACH A team of animators attended events equipped only with marker pens and large blank canvases. As they met and interacted with stand visitors, the team developed the ideas, knowledge and questions of the attendees into sketches and diagrams to help people to visualise and understand complex IT issues. This â€˜live artâ€™ experience generated a real buzz around the stands, and the final pieces have been immortalised as a series of posters.

CHALLENGE BOX DIRECT MAIL CAMPAIGN CLIENT Symantec (EMEA) SECTOR Information Technology CHALLENGE To deliver literature packs with a promotional item and drive traffic to a demonstration microsite proving how quickly trialware could be installed. APPROACH To tie in with the timed demonstration, RMA sourced stopwatches as a promotional gift and designed graphics around a strapline of “the clock is ticking”. The literature and gift were packaged in a ‘spy-kit’ style delivery box for international delivery, and the stopwatch reproduced as a widget on the microsite to measure the time spent by visitors testing the installation.
