The 2009 OLPH Outback bowl and Fall Carnival will be Saturday, September 26. This parish wide event will include football games, lunch from Outback Steakhouse, carnival games and fun. It willl end with a parish wide bbq dinner after the 5:30 pm mass. All are invited to attend this event which will raise money to support OLPH football, school wide repairs, field trips, locker room renovation and many other student and teacher needs. Please consider donating items for the Fall Carnival. The OLPH H&S has an apple tree located in the Holy Family Hall. Please choose an apple which has an items that are needed for the fall carnival. Donations may be dropped off in the "Carnival" Box, located in Holy Family Hall, any time the church is open or at the school office from 8am to 3pm M-F. Donations are needed by September 6th. Band class meets on Monday & Wednesdays during school and does not interfere with after school activities or sports. Your student can learn to play flute, clarinet alto saxophone trumpet French horm trombone baritone tuba or bells. Music teaches discipline and teamwork, and studies have shown that learning music increases overall brain power. Most band students receive scholarship assistance when they go to college.
