Undergraduate Research Assistantship Request Professor Name: Lynne Borden, Contact Amanda Abens, Project Director at email@example.com Project Title and Description: Building Partnerships for Youth (BPY) is a partnership between National 4‐H Council and the University of Arizona designed to build the capacity of youth serving organizations in the fields of education, health, faith, and youth development to facilitate the intentional integration of youth development concepts and approaches into policies and programs. In addition to providing a variety of resources for a national audience, BPY currently works very closely with six Positive Youth Development teams from the states of Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, and Louisiana. http://bpy.arizona.edu/ Description of RA duties: This position will provide research assistance and support to the Building Partnerships for Youth project team. Duties will include but are not limited to: literature reviews/searches, internet research and administrative support. RA’s will also assist in collecting and reviewing Program Model Curricula for inclusion on the BPY website. # Hours/Week (45 per unit): Most RAs will enroll for 3 units, which is equivalent to an average of 9 hours per week. It may be possible to enroll for a different number of units. Start/End Dates: Fall 2010 semester Schedule: The research lab is open Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5pm. The schedule is flexible within the lab’s open hours.
