RP Range RP 110 model is an evolution of the RT 80 with the addition of an useful lateral vain in which it is possible to insert some components of the heating system external from the wood fired thermal cooker. The connectors for the heating system of RP Range are inside the vain and they

are double, in order to make the installation easier. On demand, it is possible to make special versions of RP Range, starting also from RT 60, RT 90 or RT 100 models. In these cases, the dimensions of the thermal cooker vary in a correspondent way.

Pre-heated secondary air - All the Rizzoli thermal cookers have a system to take clean air in the upper part of the flame, which allows to burn the uncombusted gases. With this device it is possible to obtain a second combustion which ensures more efficiency, a better use of the combustible, lower pollution and less maintenance necessity for the chimney.

Starting - All the R Range thermal cookers have the combustion starting device governed by an extracting lever placed below the frame. Using this device, you shorten the fume circuit and you make easier the combustion start when the chimney is cold.

Radiating plate - The plate of all the Rizzoli thermal cookers is made in special steel, chosen to improve the transmission of heat and the best cooking efficiency. The elevated thickness of the plate and a minimal care of the plate itself guarantee an incomparable longevity of this component.

Grill riser - In RT Range it is installed a device to regulate the grill inside the combustion chamber. This allows the variation of the wood load according to necessities. The lower position allow a bigger combustion chamber and so more autonomy. The higher position takes the flame in direct touch with the plate, making the cooking better.

Ash drawer - All the models have a drawer that collect the ash produced by the combustion of the wood. It is easy to empty the drawer and place again in its original position.

Levelling pins(1)- The perfect height of the cooker is guaranteed by the levelling pins that can be regulated even if the base surface is not perfectly horizontal. The levelling pins are located in the four corners of the plinth and can be reached removing the wood box. (1)

Oven - The oven is endowed with double panoramic glass, electric light, thermometer, steam excess valve, grill and baking pan placed different levels. The door with tilt opening has a double position for a total or partial opening: the partial opening allows a better transmission of the heat when the oven is not used and it is useful also to get out the steam after the use. The materials and the particular design of the fume circuit allow to obtain a steady cooking temperature on each oven wall. (2)

Telescopic pullout for baking pan

Adjustable plinth(3) - With simple operations it is possible to adjust the recess of the plinth by moving it forward or backward. This allows a perfect alignment with the furniture and the possibility to cover the plinth with other materials being careful to not obstruct the ventilation holes on the plinth itself. (3)

Personalization. Our specialty. Rizzoli produces every single detail of its product: for this reason it is possible to personalize product lines usually standard, in addition to the many choices available by default. It is

possible to create cooking blocks with personalized frames, special versions with lateral boiler connections, combined structures with electrical appliances etc.

Primary air controller

Primary air - All the Rizzoli thermal cookers have a special device which regulates automatically the primary air. This air flows in the lower part of the combustion chamber through the fire grill. Thanks to the frontal grip it is possible to set only one time the desired combustion speed to obtain a steady thermal efficiency.

Pre-heated secondary air - The secondary air system, standard equipment different according to the model, takes clean air in the upper part of the flame. This allows to burn the uncombusted gases (post-combustion), creating further heating and removing the toxic gases produced, making the efficiency of the cooker better, together with its environmental impact. Pre-heated secondary air

Starting - All the models with oven have the combustion starting device governed by a lever placed on the front of the cooker. Using this device, you shorten the fume circuit and you make easier the combustion start when the chimney is cold.

Ash drawer - To avoid that an ash excess blocks a correct oxygen flow to the combustion, Rizzoli designed a drawer system for ash collection. With a simple action is possible to empty the drawer and replace it in its original position.

Primary air controller

Primary air - These thermal cookers have a special device which regulates automatically the primary air. In this way it is possible to set only one time the desired combustion speed to obtain a steady thermal efficiency.

Pre-heated secondary air - As standard equipment, there is a system to take clean air in the upper part of the flame, which allows to burn the uncombusted gases. With this device it is possible to obtain a second combustion which ensures more efficiency, a better use of the combustible and less maintenance necessity for the chimney.

Starting - The device to start the combustion is governed by a lever placed on the front of the cooker. Using this device, you shorten the fume circuit and you make easier the combustion start when the chimney is cold.

Grill riser - As standard endowment is installed a device to regulate the grill inside the combustion chamber. In this way you can vary the capacity of the combustion chamber and the ratio between the power given to the boiler and the one given to the plate. The lower position allow a bigger combustion chamber and so more autonomy. The higher position takes the flame in direct touch with the plate, making the cooking better.

Fire door - The standard endowment includes a panoramic fire door with glass. The door has a self cleaning system on the double glass: this makes the maintenance easy and minimal. Stainless steel serpentines

Boiler - Inside the boiler there are many devices. Two stainless steel serpentines allow the heat exchange with two separated circuits for the heating system and the production of instantaneous sanitary hot water. The level sensor, matched with the electronic control unit allow to signal the decrease of the water level of the boiler. The full discharge pipe creates and open expansion tank system for what concerns the natural circulation which happens inside the boiler and in this way guarantees safety. Accessories

Anti-condensation valve When a thermal stove or thermal cooker is installed in a system that includes a boiler or a big capacity puffer, it is suggested to insert an anti-condensation valve to avoid the return of cold water in the boiler of the device. This allows to avoid the condensation in the boiler which could generate damages. Moreover, the system will be able to work better. Rizzoli gives two kinds of simple valve: with 1� and 1� 1/4 fittings. Rizzoli also can give an automatic anti-condensation system with circulators included.

Expansion tank Every heating system which has a liquid with variable temperature should have a system which allows its volume variations. The expansion tank can be open or closed. Rizzoli gives, on demand, a closed expansion tank for small systems and suitable for Rizzoli thermal cookers and thermal stoves together with the thermal discharge safety system (RT, RP, ST, TS) or directly with the devices, when they have an integrated safety system (STP, STK, TSK).

Thermal discharge valve The thermal discharge valve is the heart of every safety system where a wood fired thermal cooker or thermal stove matches a closed expansion tank heating system. This allows the circulation of non-returnable water inside an apposite serpentine and then to cool the boiler directly from its inside when necessary. On demand, Rizzoli gives a suited thermal discharge valve for its devices predisposed for thermal discharge (RT, RP, ST and TS)

Draught regulator When a thermal cooker or a thermal stove is installed on a tall chimney conduct with too much draught, it may be useful to predispose a device able to slow down the exhaust fumes flow. Only in this way you will be able to obtain best performances. The same device, with a different regulation, can be used to rule the air intake of the room: it will open when only when requested by the wood fired device.

The thermal cooker and the thermal stove need to be always connected to a thermosanitary system. For the Discharge connection, it is requested basically one going and one return connection, to allow the flow of water in the boiler. Here are some examples of possible system realization. These schemes are just valid as example and must not be used in the making of the system.

The disposition of the system may vary according to the features of the house or the needs of the user. Rizzoli recommends that the design of the system is made by a thermal technician and the installation is made by an experienced plumber, according to the existing laws.

Wood fired thermal cookers are easy to install, anyway, before the installation, we recommend to verify the necessary space, the safety distances, the correct predisposition of the chimney and the possibility to make the necessary connections. Chimney has a main importance for the correct working of a wood fired thermal cooker. To build the chimney you must use suitable materials, made to work with high temperatures and according to fireproof laws: it is not important the kind of material, on condition that it is right and that the chimney is isolated. Chimney must be dimensioned in a correct way according to the type of thermal cooker it is connected with, minding the environmental and general conditions of the place in which it is placed. The section of the chimney must permit the flow of the fumes produced by the thermal cooker without difficulties, but it must not be

too big otherwise the chimney will experience problems in heating itself and this may generate problems like weak draught and condensation. The height of the chimney must be enough to insure the draught necessary to the chosen model. Bigger is the height of the chimney, bigger is the draught. The chimney must not have tortuous parts, horizontal parts or counterslope parts; the number of bends must be reduced to minimum. The flue must be well isolated and circular if possible. The flue must not have defects, narrowings or losses. In the room in which the device is installed must be always ensured the recycle of fresh air, in particular if the room is small and window and door frames are hermetic. The correct flow of air in the room must be ensured also in presence of other combustion based devices, aspiring hoods, chimneys and vent holes.

External air intake How it works In some situations, it might be useful that the air necessary for the combustion is not taken from the room in which the device is installed but directly from outside through a specific conduct. In this way it is possible to avoid all the possible defects that may be created in hermetical rooms without enough air recycle. At the same time, it is possible to obtain a better thermal efficiency giving the maximum value to the presence in the house of a high level thermal isolation.

The air intake of the device is placed inside the cooker, in correspondence of the plinth. If you want to use this solution all you need to do is to make in the room an air intake connected to outside, in a position compatible with the chosen device.
