Shae Smith: was raised in Brooklyn, NY where she developed a deep love

YaliniDream Lankan Tamil Blood, Manchester Born, Texas bred and Brooklyn steeped, YaliniDream is a Queer performance artist, activist, and facilitator. She conjures spirit through her unique blend of poetry, theater, song, and dance-- reshaping reality and seeking peace through justice in the lands of earth, psyche, soul, and dream. One of the South Asian American community’s most prominent performance poets, YaliniDream has toured nationally throughout the US as well as performing in Canada, Europe & South Asia. As a director YaliniDream works to bring under-represented voices to center stage through community based theater productions. As a movement artist YaliniDream is draws upon the vocabulary of Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Laban Movement Analysis; US Urban dance forms such as Hip Hop & House; and South Asian folk and contemporary traditions. YaliniDream is also a trained aerial dancer in corde lisse who loves to fly-- challenging notions of the seemingly impossible. She holds a BA in Theater with a concentration in Acting & Directing from the University of Texas, Austin.

Yvonne Fly Onakeme Etaghene: is an Ijaw and Urhobo Nigerian

dyke performance activist, poet, dancer, essayist, playwright and actress. She uses her poetry to chisel a verbal sculpture of her soul for listeners while addressing issues of race, ethnicity, class, gender, sexuality, war, imperialism, love, selfesteem and family. Etaghene has selfpublished three collections of poetry, toured nationally and performed in over 30 u.s. cities. She was interviewed by None on Record: Stories of Queer Africa, a sound documentary project that collects the stories of QLGBT Africans. The world tour of her one woman show, Volcano's Birthright{s}, kicks off June 2011. Etaghene is a mixed-media visual artist who’s produced 3 solo art exhibitions.

for the sounds created here. She graduated from Smith College ('08) where she DJ'ed social events and parties on campus. Once back in Brooklyn, she went to many local parties and events within the local LGBT community where she started to develop a respect for the power of a great DJ. To work on her craft, she took a class with DJ Rimarkable, who taught her the art of working a crowd. Since then, she has DJ'ed events all over Brooklyn and NJ, including "Intergenerations: Toshi Reagon and Friends", BBQueer and Ms. Thang with DJ Tikka Masala.

Krudas Cubensi: The original founders of Agrupación de Creación Alternativa Cubensi in Habana, Cuba, 1996, also Tropazancos Cubensi in 2000, in 1999 they formed the Hip Hop group Krudas Cubensi and in 2005 Omegas Kilay a womyns Hip Hop/Theatre Collective. In 2006 they migrated to United States and now based in Austin, TX, working hard on their art and performance around the country……………………………….

Rajdulari Barnes: the lead voice for so

many of New England’s eclectic world, jazz and funk groups, Rajdulari hails from Boston and is a ten year veteran of the local performance scene. Her past performance credits include such venues as Jazz clubs Regattabar, Ryles, Scullers, along with many performances at the Emerson Majestic Theater, Saunders Theater, Boston’s Hynes Convention Center, The Isabella Stuart Gardner Museum, Agassiz Theater, and The Mayor’s Summer Jazz Concert Series. She has worked with composers Walter Robinson, David Zoffer, (New England Conservatory (NEC)), James Stewardson (Guitar faculty @ Rivers Music School, NEC Prep/SCE Jazz & Fresh Sounds recording artist). Accompanied by bassist, Tara Thierry.

Hanifah Walidah is a musician, playwright, educator and social arts activist. Her rich 20 year career has taken an ethnographic approach to the arts and social change. She is currently editing a short documentary interview with Ntozake Shange and is working on a new musical theater production entitled "Go In and Let Have".

JAZ CRUZ is an Artist, Writer, Barber. She has been a member of WOW for eight years and a Producer and organizer of Rivers of Honey for six years. She single-handedly resurrected the Rivers of Honey framework, originally created by Hanifah Walidah. RIVERS of HONEY would like to Thank all who came out for the FLOAT Party at OUTPOST Lounge.
