DINNER When everyone arrives home after a long day at work and school, these heart-warming recipes are sure to be the highlight of a relaxing evening.

Quinoa and dried fruit 3 cups (750 ml) cooked quinoa ½ cup (125 ml) chopped dried apricot ½ cup (125 ml) golden raisins ½ cup (125 ml) chopped oregano 2 tablespoons (30 ml) honey Salt and pepper to taste

1.Prepare 3 cups of quinoa as per package directions. 2.Once the quinoa is cooked, fluff with a fork and add remaining ingredients and serve.

Orange braised chicken 6 chicken thigh pieces and 4 chicken legs ½ cup (125 ml) flour 2 tablespoons (30 ml) vegetable oil 2 cloves garlic 3 bunches of thyme 2 cups (500 ml) chicken stock 1 cup (250 ml) orange juice 2 oranges, sliced Salt and pepper to taste

1. Season chicken with salt and pepper. 2. Place flour in a shallow dish and dredge both sides of the chicken. Shake off excess flour, and set aside. 3. Heat oil in fry pan, and brown both sides of the chicken. Place in a casserole dish. 4. Add remaining ingredients to casserole dish and place in oven at 450°F (232°C) for 30 minutes.
